Rick... Any idea how to get the dust caps on the front off to get at the bearing? One came right off. Seems some gorilla mfer hammered the other one in right nicely

Rick V 12-04-2011 01:54 PM

Thin chisel and small hammer

porsche4life 12-04-2011 01:55 PM

So basically, what I'm doing.

Rick V 12-04-2011 01:58 PM

A large pair of channel locks might work too

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:01 PM

Scott Baio is the antichrist

slodave 12-04-2011 02:12 PM

I saw him at a local eatery the other week.

porsche4life 12-04-2011 02:15 PM

Got a different hammer and chisel, got mad at it, and the bastard came off. Now comes the dirty part...

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:18 PM

Really? I wasn't aware that he's a catholic priest...

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:21 PM

Humor dude, random humor (from a warped mind AKA Bobcat Gold sunptin or nother)

HHI944 12-04-2011 02:25 PM

I got that and was just messing around about Scott being one. Catholic priests on the otherhand have this tendency to be miserable a55 monkeys....

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:28 PM

Gotcha. Being born and raised Catholic I tend to stay as far away from a priest as I can

slodave 12-04-2011 02:32 PM

Even Judas?

HHI944 12-04-2011 02:33 PM

Same here. Never literally been screwed by one, just figuratively. I'd like to refer back to the Machiavelli quote I had in my signature not long ago....

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:35 PM

No now Judas Priest I still hang with. :D

slodave 12-04-2011 02:40 PM

Time for a little work on the guitar. The neck pup has been very "muddy" when the volume knob is turned down. Even worse when the tone is turned down as well.

Chatting with Wolfe about something else last night and he questioned whether the wiring was correct. I think it's not. I may have mixed up two wires. Time to resolder those two and see what happens.

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:46 PM

Gonna use dads soldering rig?

slodave 12-04-2011 02:47 PM

That's all I have. Mine is in the Toyota. Wires switched. Warming up the amp.

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:49 PM

Rawk on dewd

Rick V 12-04-2011 02:52 PM

In the days of old
When knights were bold
and toilets weren't invented
You dropped your load
by the side of the road
and went along
Contented......
