I'm currently on hour #3 of trying to solve a control systems problem.

Involves lots of MATLAB, logarithmic paper, and creative number fudging...

Which brings me to Schumi engineering tip #423: Fudging numbers is an order of magnitude more difficult when hand plotting on a log scale.

Was that you going by at 60km/h? (that's 40mph for the yanks)

Morning guys!!

I feel like we are bonding on a whole 'nother level here.

I'm now in Tromsų, several hundred miles NORTH of the arctic circle. They call it the "Paris of the North" but I'm not sure why. its 10:30 and the sun has made no attempt whatsoever to come up and it probably wont bother. Tonight I fly "south" to Bodų, still sell inside the arctic circle.

just thought I would check in.

Rick V 12-02-2009 12:34 AM

There is a reason the sun doesn't come out up there, because people should not live that close to nowhere.

Yes it was Marcus, in fifth gear, coming out of a tight righthand turn, probably....

Seems like Marcus is back with his old habit of drive by fluffing, a fluf and run, so to speak....:D:D

You'd be surprised. I think there are 30,000 people in this town. oddly enough, there are lots of people in this country who travel south to get here. it's another 1000km to the northern reaches of Norway - and there are people living there too! its all about fishing and more recently oil.

btw the sun shines 24hrs a day here in the summer, so they get their revenge.

and that was today's geography lesson.

Rick V 12-02-2009 12:42 AM

weeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I just checked and my new 2,500# overload springs should be here in time for the weekend. I know what Saturday is gonna entail

And stop trying to pull this back into any form for serious discussion Rick.

me serious? when did I go serious? I just figured since Stijn was slacking in the sarcasm dept, that I would have to take up his slack. We gotta stick together and help, yanno
