I see I'm not there only one that gets mandatory hangovers. :D

nynor 12-24-2011 04:03 PM

sounds like my experience with cheap mexican beers: dos equis, simpatico, and the grandaddy of all piss: corona.

instant hangover.

svandamme 12-24-2011 04:04 PM

i'll drink Mexican beer with cheap tequila chasers before i will drink Heiniken.

nynor 12-24-2011 04:08 PM

wow. this is a real live get to know each other moment!

Noah930 12-24-2011 04:11 PM

When I took a trip to Greece a few years ago, Heineken and/or Stella Artois were usually the least expensive beers on the menu. Apparently they were brewed locally, and not imported from Holland.

I don't know about that. I think Tecate tastes like bathwater.

Noah930 12-24-2011 04:12 PM

I've just enjoyed a case of...Costco beer. It's surprisingly good. Comes in a case with 3 or 4 different flavors/styles.

slodave 12-24-2011 04:13 PM

I don't drink Mexican beer either. Corona sucks and is only tolerable with a lime.

i am fairly certain that the same is true here in the states.

RKDinOKC 12-24-2011 04:23 PM

I don't often drink beer, but when I do it's....usually free. :)

RKDinOKC 12-24-2011 04:25 PM

Well...doing my Christmas Eve makin salsa thing. I usually make up a couple of gallons of Mango salsa I give for Christmas presents.

From Wiki..

Quote:

Heineken is the flagship product of the company. It is a 5% abv pale lager that was first made in 1868. It is brewed by 40 breweries in 39 countries around the world. In 2006 2.58 billion litres of Heineken was produced.[1] Since 1975 most Heineken beer is brewed in the Heineken brewery in Zoeterwoude, the Netherlands.[3]

I was born in the UK...

and my favourite beer is Budweiser draft but will settle for the canned stuff. I like the light taste. English beer , Canadian beer, Heineken, etc and all that European stuff does not compare. Keep on brewing :D

slodave 12-24-2011 04:50 PM

Ew, no American Budweiser anything or Miller or Coors. The original Czeh version is good.

nynor 12-24-2011 04:52 PM

welcome sixtie.

i've been brewing my own beer for close to 20 years. i've worked in a couple of local breweries. i also worked in a homebrew shop. when guys would come into the store and ask about making a budweiser clone, i'd tell them to just walk across the street and buy it. its not worth making. YMMV.

nynor 12-24-2011 04:54 PM

and you have to post a picture of yourself and read the whole thread. :)

Flieger 12-24-2011 04:56 PM

I got to page 250 or so and gave up. Too much other stuff to do that is actually productive.

Glad I was the #2 poster. Only had to read one post.
