Morning Richard

Dave you are never going to convince me you are not half vampire

Friend used to fly from OKC to somewhere in Kentucky on a regular basis in a Cherokee. It was about as far as the Cherokee could go in a day. He has 4 kids and the 6 place Cherokee was a perfect fit. Said it was so much better than spending two days driving, and so much cheaper than commercial.

Thanks, all. We'll see how things progress.

Rick, this would probably be a 3 day trip, maybe with my parents. I would expect to fly in and out of Pennsylvania. And Pete, that would be SW of Scranton.

Schedule permitting, maybe I can take the 964 garage queen for a drive to PA then.

The only thing is when you get back you will have to spend an entire weekend washing the PA off your car:cool:

LOL. I love taking a Spring-time drive through Amish country with my windows open.

Since working from home and keeping and eye and ear on my Mom with Alzheimer's my sleep wake cycle is pretty messed up. Pretty much just take naps any more. At work I got recognized for my availability. Co-workers thought that was pretty funny since I rarely go to the office.

I'll let you know, Jim. :) I did get your PM. I'll be around.

Planning to go to a 928 gathering in Wichta KS in July. And Spend a couple of weeks in Austin for the F1 race in November.

Sweet

What does having your windows open have to do with Amish country?

It is the "aroma"

RKDinOKC 06-01-2012 02:10 AM

OH, we got that here in Oklahoma too. Just no buggies. The Menonites drive.

They still fertilize the old fashion way...with manure. Quite aromatic. :D

Rick V 06-01-2012 02:23 AM

It kinda has that "Iowa" scent to it

Jim Richards 06-01-2012 02:24 AM

Yep

RKDinOKC 06-01-2012 02:28 AM

I thought that was just that fresh air smell of farm land.

Rick V 06-01-2012 02:29 AM

Okay off to ruin a few peoples dreams, and yes today I am in a mood to be a real prick. Damn the State Police muffed up when they gave me any kind of power.
Y'all have a good day

GH85Carrera 06-01-2012 04:36 AM
