Ahhhh so for you the age where you were no longer invincible was 28.

nynor 01-12-2012 12:38 PM

nope. i started wearing a helmet motorcycling long before that. it just never occurred to me to get one for snowboarding. you have to remember that was 14 years ago and helmets still weren't that popular. when i started snowboarding, in 1985, no one on the mountain, at all, ever, was wearing a helmet, even for the local races. the first time i saw a guy wearing a helmet snowboarding, i nearly laughed out loud. two years later, i had one and wished i'd had one the entire time.

the age where i truly realized my vulnerability was when i was 24 and got hit by a car on my bicycle. that one sucked. bad. my foot is still letting me know.

Nope. :) Warning or two, maybe.

My cat likes to sleep on the people bed with 'his' people. Usually not with me, mainly because I fear I would roll onto him. I am a restless sleeper for the most part.

Evening guys, Look what Rickie picked up today. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1326411249.jpg

Morning all.

We have two Border Collies - They like being close and are inside as often as they can be, but too much hair to sleep inside let alone on the bed. They have a very comfy setup outside.

Noah930 01-12-2012 02:36 PM

Hmph. All I got was a new battery for the 911.

Noah930 01-12-2012 02:38 PM

Is it just me, or are supercars everywhere these days?

Whilst at TRE, there was a 959 up on the lift. Last time I was there a week ago, they had another 959 in for some routine service. When I got back to the office, someone has one of those new McLarens valeted out front.

nynor 01-12-2012 02:38 PM

hey rick. happy spoon day.

Rick V 01-12-2012 02:39 PM

I have 4 cats, it is hard to tel how many are going to be sleeping in my bed. I do know there is a direct correlation between the lower temps and the higher cat count.
