All I know is we had a long talk 12 hours back.
Trying to get him off the pipe.

It looks like several guys are awake and on-line.

We all miss Markus.

Remember back a long time ago there was a guy called G something? What ever happened to him?

Icemaster 01-18-2012 12:07 PM

What happened to Markus...?

Car wise, i never liked Mercs.. i've driven several and they all felt like boring oil tankers to me.
Except maybe the AMG , that one was downright scary in acceleration, but still would sell it the very same day they gave it to me for free.. Now an M5, i'de keep it (and prolly kill myself with it).

I sent a friend of mine to test drive an E320 wagon, it had everything she wanted in a car. She called me after the test drive and said she felt like a fat German driving it. Funny part is the woman is in her upper 80's. She bought an E46 wagon.
I like the C class because they are fairly nimble.

svandamme 01-18-2012 02:21 PM

C class is for cabdrivers and farmers around here..http://www.travelupdate.be/frontend/...zwart-geel.jpg

Ugh it snowed. We have about 6" on the ground. The boys helped shovel out the driveway. Took the day off, boss not happy. Wifes office did the smart thing and closed.

Hey I took the rest of the week off, I don't care how the boss feels. and keep that white crap out yonder, I mean Evening David

Porsche-poor 01-18-2012 02:41 PM

I'll try. Right now I just wish the boss would get it. Its not worth the risk.

Back when sedan shopping drove at least one of EVERYTHING.
Was replacing a VW Passat that VW bought back from me because the seat was causing nerve damage. Of all the sedans available in 2005 I could only drive two for longer than 10 minutes without my butt hurting. There were a couple of cars I really wanted to be able to drive like the Audi S4 and a SAAB 9.5, but none of the Mercedes. The two pain free sedans were BMWs with sport seats and the Volvos.

When Hugh Grant was on Top Gear as the star in a reasonably priced car, he described the exact same problem I had after driving his brothers Golf. Said he had to trade in his Astin Martin for a Porsche because of what he called Golf Balls.

Company I work for has a motor pool that will come pick you up on snow/ice days. All you have to do is call. It is a manufacturing company though.

My boss had a standing policy that if you came in sick, he would send you home because he didn't want whatever it was to go around the office.
