Peters-Stahl in Germany makes polygonal rifled 1911 barrels but read something couple of weeks ago, that they don't like lead bullets, something about lead fouling, causing overpressure and kabooms. |
 Yeah, I've heard that's an issue. I don't reload so it's not a problem with my p9s |
i just don't think there's that much advantage to be found in em, hence why hardly anyone makes em |
Well I found out what happens when you have a dirty AR. (note I am not the one who didn't clean it properly the last time) Not cool when a round jams up damn near all the way in and the bolt lock up. Won't go into full close nor will it return to eject the cartridge. Wonderful time doing a partial takedown with a live round in it. |
So who failed to clean it properly? Little miss poor trigger discipline? :) |
Nope the fella who gave it to me, AKA my dad |
 Parents.......ya just can't trust em. |
Well he should know better and I will bring it up next time I talk to him. |
Yahhh, im supposed to be able to pick up the wagon tomorrow.....so im thinking they'll tell me maybe Wednesday... |
 Cool |
I think im gonna bring a dead gecko with me to talk to the adjuster. Much more practical than bringing a dead caveman. |
Or a dead adjuster might work too. :) |
Don't tempt me. I'm going nuts.....I really want to get in the s600 without having to out of pocket the the $$ i'll get from trade in |
I looked at a 964 c2 cab....really tempted, I just need back seats that real people can use and a decent sized trunk. |
We put my daughter in the back of Lanna when she was 16 or so, she didn't make it very far. :) |
The seats in the w220 s600 are roomy and the rears recline. Awesome features considering the age... |
Joe.... You do realize that a v12 merc that is several years old sounds like a dumb idea right..... |
I've done a lot if research....seems they're fairly durable, biggest problem is plugs and coil packs. Im going in expecting to have to replace those right off the bat. |
I recall there was something high dollar to do with the radio in Dave's fathers 500.... |
