exactly, the girl, obviously is insecure and unable to sort out her chit.
Sucks for her, but anybody older then 30 who can't take control over his or her own destiny is either damaged goods and/or excess bagage..
..?
She's 26.. Not damaged, just stuck in a weird home.

Fuhked up, that's what it is

Then she really needs to get out of town, and for her own sake she really has to do it herself and live on her own for a while , and with on her own , i really mean, on her own.

It will be the best thing she ever does, if she does it.

And you wanting her bad, well, i'm sorry, but that's not in her best interest .. it really is not.. At 26 she has to grow up and learn to live , and survive on her own. Like i said, anybody who hasn't figure that out by 30 really has issues. She's got 4 years left to make that target, which is not a lot if she doesn't get going now.

Grats on the Gradz, keep em up.

Finding a girl in college...two words...Liberal Arts. That's where the husband hunters are. For hiking, etc...look in the aggie department for the forestry chicks.

TAKEN?!? You are talking about college aren't you?

It's not basket weaving, it's underwater basket weaving.

New Jags look like a cross between a Nissan and an Aston Martin. I kinda like my 928 GTS. Getting kinda anxious to get my 425hp 5.4 liter V8 GT car back.

I will hug her and squeeze her and name her George.

Id buy that book stijn. It never ceases to amaze me how unchristian people who purport to be christians can act......its sad when someone old enough to be my grandparent acts like a child towards me because I dared to question the churches actions....

I agree that living on her own would be the best thing she can do. She needs to GTFO for her own sake.
Me wanting her bad not being in her best interest, I dunno. It's not a bad thing either. And keep in mind, she wants me back...
Actually we're already together.

The nuts, meet fist does sound appealing but I doubt it would a long term solution. Or the right solution at this moment.

The quote function sucks, posting from a phone...

By taken, I mean I think my chances are even worse if I have to not only appeal to the girl but also break a couple up.

Liberal arts... ugh.:( (No offense to any liberal arts majors, it's just not my thing.) I'd like to find someone I can enjoy talking to. And I don't think I can talk much about liberal arts stuff.

Forestry. I'll have to check that out. Maybe geology too? I like geology and all the geologists I've met are into the outdoors for obvious reasons.

Sometimes having the departments so separated is a bad thing. I would feel stupid just going over there for no reason other than checking out girls in the hallway. Not to mention I don't know where the classes would be. They don't always stick engineering classes in engineering buildings, but I haven't been put near a geology or forestry class yet.

I'm not really in a big hurry. The right one will come along sometime. I'm more focused on sorting out my career first.

GH85Carrera 03-20-2012 03:34 PM

Good choice.

GH85Carrera 03-20-2012 03:40 PM

You cat owners can empathize with this. I got home and fed the dogs as usual. As usual they went outside just after and did the typical dog droppings. I started doing my computer tasks and went to shred one bill I just set up to pay on line. I looked down and my dog dropped a dead mouse at my feet. I guess she was too full to eat it like the other mice she has caught. I flushed it and she was looking at me like I stole her stash meal.

Flieger 03-20-2012 03:44 PM

My cat never brought them in the house. Just left the guts on the front door mat so you'd know what a good hunter he was. Now that he is older he doesn't do much hunting anymore.

And if I do meet someone, I am not afraid of Dads. :)

Flieger 03-20-2012 04:19 PM

Well, after the rainy (and some small hail) Saturday, and the cold and very windy Sunday, the weather has finally gotten nice again today. I am seeing lots of hummingbirds around the feeder. At one point two were on the feeder at the same time and two more came dive bombing in, spiraling around each other trying to scare each other away. The two at the feeder kept feeding.

RKDinOKC 03-20-2012 05:05 PM

Was dating these two girls at the same time in HS. Their Dads were always smiling at me. Come to find out they both worked at the same company, their offices were next door to each other, they shared the same secretary, and as couples they and their wives played golf, bridge, partied and took vacations together.

Very awkwards for me when one of the girls took me to her Dads office with her and both Dads just smiled at me. Neither ever said anything to me about dating both daughters and were always as nice as could be, but always grinning at me.

Took one on spring break trip, the other to the prom.

Porsche-poor 03-20-2012 05:08 PM

yeah i made it to the end now to go rest......

RKDinOKC 03-20-2012 05:17 PM

Was at a distant relatives farm, they had 4 3 liter coke bottles set up as hummingbird feeders on their front porch. There were always 10 to 12 of them little buzzers flitting around them.

nynor 03-20-2012 05:28 PM

richard, i am going to look up a design for the feeders. i have three feeders that i keep stocked and i am big fan of hummingbirds.

Porsche-poor 03-20-2012 06:57 PM

I wish we had more hummies here. We only see one or two a year even with a feeder out.

Porsche-poor 03-20-2012 07:00 PM

Ok wheres the Doc when ya need him? Oh well another sleepless night!!!!! No pain but no sleep.
