Dave M. came over to help me with that on the 911. What a PITA, particularly as all I had was some makeshift shadetree mechanic's worth of tubing and a plastic funnel we duct taped together. Glad it's only done every 30K miles or so.

I had a make shift funnel zip-tied to the rim of the access tunnel with tubing zip tied in place..........it was......interesting....the transfer case and differentials were a good bit easier.....though I did manage to get 80w90 everywhere....

Great snow pics Noah. I'm really jonesing to get on some snow and try some snowboarding. I've seen lots of pics from friends recently.

Thinking I may take a week next Dec to learn to board and decompress after the internship.

busy reading up on legal crap , if i get my dad declared presumed missing on the 18th.. what impact will that have on the reposession and public sale of his house by the Bailiff.

It's a rather fine piece of real estate, and the public sale is done without mucht effort to maximise the sale price.. eg, they don't care if it sells for 300 400 or 700 K.. as long as they get the 100 K to cover the debt...

i'm just blabbing numbers here, i have no insiders knowledge of actual figures.. i just know the house has a real value in excess of 6-700 K...and that's my own low ball guestimation.. (i'm actually pretty good at assessing real estate value, nailed price on grandma's house almost to the penny)

So now looking into my options
Is it worth blocking the sale with some procedure
is it worth delaying

or should i focus on optimising the sale value , for instance by making a fuss in the media, making some noise that this public sale of this rather fine piece of property is taking place.....

Yup what Dave said

svandamme 03-27-2012 12:43 AM

It's all very interesting cause i go at it from a position of never expected anything, so anything i get is a bonus...

Rick V 03-27-2012 12:46 AM

Lets just hope it doesn't end up costing you anything

svandamme 03-27-2012 12:56 AM

52 bucks so far on the court request.

It can't cost me anything if i don't want it to..
i can't inherit debt against my will

Rick V 03-27-2012 01:05 AM

There is always something interesting going on with someone in this thread.

slodave 03-27-2012 01:06 AM

You can say that again!

Rick V 03-27-2012 01:11 AM

BTW Dave, I agree with what we talked about yesterday morning.

svandamme 03-27-2012 01:19 AM

but do you agree with what he'll say tomorrow evening?

btw, what was he saying?

slodave 03-27-2012 01:20 AM

I never know when I agree with me.

Rick V 03-27-2012 01:21 AM

Doubt it, Dave is usually asleep in the evenings and I don't listen to what people say in their sleep. :)

slodave 03-27-2012 01:23 AM

I'm actually up in the evenings. That's when the sun goes down.
