I bastardised your recipe a bit, but they were still pretty good. Oh, and the porterhouse steak was also pretty good :D |

g'day Rick much on today? |
|
Nope, just gonna buy some new boots, burn my old ones and take it easy. |

I like lazy weekends. I'm looking forward to next weekend - camping. No takers from you lot yet? Invitations still out there ;) It'll be my lazy weekend. I'm taking Thursday and the following Tuesday off and making it a proper weekend. |

I am planning on doing some camping this year. We missed it last year due to family crap. I have way too much work to do around here to take the weekend off but I can barely walk across the house without taking some pain pills so I have no choice but to take it easy. |

Other than our three week venture into the desert last July/August, we only got out a few times last year. Planning to do a few more weekends/overnighters this year. Also planning another three week trek back into the desert again this year. What you do to your knee? Old or new injury? I've got the bone cracker fix'n my back. Pain can really give you the chits. |

Some *****heads letting off fire crackers! |

Beth and I like to leave town friday after work and head up into the mountains and leave sunday afternoon. We camp way out in no mans land. The knee is an old injury. I have something floating around behind my kneecap. |

Sure My old dog is trying to rip down the flyscreen door to hide from it  No mans land sounds perfect. You don't have to go far out of town here to be nowhere, half hour to an hour is all it takes. We're just coming up to camping season here as it's starting to cool down (although today it was 36C ) Unfortunately for me, it's also netball season and Sharyn is big into it (playing). So we have to wait until she's done before we go out. I'll have everything ready and pick her up after her game, and we'll just scoot out for the night. Then cook up an english breaky in the morning over the camp fire and pack up about mid morning. Usually take the dogs out with us when we camp locally, they really love it if theres a waterhole for them to play in. The only crook thing for them is the coarse sand, it ends up making them footsore if they're on it for too long. |

I had a piece of bone from my ankle break off (snowboarding) and lodge itself on the front of the 'whatever the bone is called that attaches to your foot'. It caused a groove to wear into the top of my foot. This left me with a limp and hurt like hell. I had that piece of bone cut out (it sits on my desk at work in a jar :D ) and never looked back. Kicked myself that I put up with the pain for so long, and besides, coming off the methadone after the op wasn't too stressful ;) If they can fix it, I'd highly recommend it. |

|
Rick it sucks to get old. But it beats the alternative. |
|
"charity" Isn't that the part where you lose the first couple hands then kill them the rest of the night? |
