That would be the case at my house. The bedroom is on the east side of the house. The room we go to if a storm comes close is the guest bathroom right next to our bedroom.

short but still good.

I'm glad I made plans to go hiking with my parents today. They left without me. Not cool.

Porsche-poor 04-15-2012 04:26 PM

you to old to catch up? MOVE IT!!!!!

slodave 04-15-2012 04:28 PM

I'm not about to go running around the Santa Monica Mtns. looking for them. I was at their house a couple of minutes before 5 - according to their clocks. It was left yesterday that we'd go for a hike at 5.

Just spent a while behind the push mower on my grandmas lot in town. Its an old lot that nobody has lived on in years, not sure why we haven't sold it yet. We tend to forget about it when it comes mowing time. It had been long enough that she had gotten a letter from the city that it needed mowing.

Coincidentally our riding mower, and our finish mower for the tractor both broke on friday. Luckily we have a walk behind brush hog to knock down that big crap. Would not have wanted to subject the brand new toro commercial push mower to that....

Porsche-poor 04-15-2012 04:31 PM

that does not sound like any fun.

nynor 04-15-2012 04:34 PM

i hate mowing. in fact, i hate nearly any kind of yard work.

on the bright side, i just got back from the corner market, looked in the mirror, found that i still had a bit of tissue stuck to my neck where i nicked myself shaving. :)

Noah930 04-15-2012 04:38 PM

You could have come hiking with us, Dave. We were out in Yucaipa this weekend.

nynor 04-15-2012 04:40 PM

i bet your parents have a reasonable explanation, dave.

Porsche-poor 04-15-2012 04:40 PM

I hate yard work as well. I am allergic to most grass so the ideal yard is paved over.

porsche4life 04-15-2012 04:40 PM

Our 48" commercial ZTR is due to be replaced. 8yrs of trouble free use and now it's giving issues. We are going to fix it, finish out the season, and sell it at the start of next season. Start hunting for a new mower in the fall.

Nynor, I think it's cute when guys have tissue left over from shaving. :)

And I used to mow the lawn before I got landscapers. Put on my headphones and got a good workout and tan. Mind you, my yard grass is the size of putting greens. Nothing like what I bet you had to deal with, Sidney.

Both of you feel free to come mow. Food and drinks on me.

This was a city lot. Half a block deep, about a hundred feet wide...

Not like mowing the 3acres at her house, or the 5 at ours....
