I get my coffee from the slopes of a mountain in the deepest darkest Africa, steeped in mystery and grown at some secret location (all fair trade grown of course) and picked by women with no bras (or tops) on, roasted over an ancient fire, and shipped to Oz, by romantic sailing ship, manned by a crew of Johnny Depps.

Dreaming I know, but I do get my beans sent over from Oz and they do come from Africa, but the Johnny Depp crew sounds like a good idea, loved those Pirates of the Carribean movies!

i modified it with a switch to turn off the heating element, but leave the fan running, when the coffee is done roasting.

randolph, utah, where we go shooting in the spring, got 17 inches of snow today! holy cow!

Porsche-poor 10-24-2012 06:41 PM

Wow thats a lot of white stuff.

HHI944 10-24-2012 06:56 PM

Bustelo is not a beginners coffee and is just downright nasty americano style........but as an espresso it's nice, very sharp flavor........make sure you've got at least 13 bar pressure on your machine and tamp it to hell and back. I damn near use a hammer. Comes out so thick and black it could make a keg of Guinness whimper in fear.

nynor 10-24-2012 07:00 PM

good to know. i'll have to give a try and report back.

Folger's coffee & Mr. Coffee maker with just tap water. Add electricity. Drink. Enjoy. It is cheap, like me.

sweeeet, checked out the website, fantastic, will have to try a few of them out, and here I thought that Americans had no taste when it came to a good coffee, but I see there is a light at the end of the tunnel, there is hope that I shall find a good coffee bean supply on this continent . Thanks D

Glen, Glen, Glen,

as we get older we need these little luxuries that all that work we did and got paid for can afford us, fine coffee, fine wine, fine cigars (for those that like em) , fine chocolates, and mighty fine cars.......

azzarule 10-24-2012 07:11 PM

So I wanted to install this program called Optimum Tire but the setup kept failing. I asked the team lead for Formula Electric (as he is a CPE- computer progamming engineer or something along those lines).

Apparently my windows update has been deleted. As I do not know how to do this (only turn off automatic updates) I think it must have something to do with that rouge antivirus I had a while ago. The guy mentioned that those viruses can infect windows update and the antivirus that you use to remove the virus can then end up deleting infected windows update files instead of cleaning them. Anyway, that would explain the little messages about "such and such program updater has failed" that pop up when I start the computer. The computer still works fine otherwise.

I don't have my Vista disc with me but he recommended updating to windows 7.

If I update, won't that mean I have to reinstall all my programs? What about all my data ?(photos, documents, itunes library, etc.)

If I get the Vista disc can I repair it without affecting the other programs and such?
