That diagram looks right about on par for the instrumentation wiring on my Landy.........it all failed a while ago and I don't really intend to fix it!

'cause as soon as I start to play something on youtube or whatever, they all rush over to look, very invasive, in my personal space stuff.. so here goes ....will have to turn Boz Scaggs off, hope he doesn't mind, only get to play him, Benson and Ry Cooder as well , when nobody else is at home... , they just don't share my music generation. And if I put Mario Lanza's Student Price or the Sound of Music on they freak :eek::eek::eek::eek: West Side Story, stuff I grew up with, my mother has a lot to answer for. Although after she left home I was a really big Sabbath, Zeppelin, Moody Blues, ZZ, Doors etc fan, but I have evolved, now I like pretty much everything, although I rarely get to play some of it Only get to play Tommy Dorsey and the swing stuff at Christmas!! I tell them its Christmas music and if they don't like it they don't eat!!!! |
let me know what you think

David, not too bad at all, I liked the mix of songs, although I would maybe throw in a quieter Santana like mood one, that would be good for me in the mix as well, just to mix up the night and bring the noise level down a bit, I like if I'm out listening to a band to have a slower/quieter one or two songs thrown in. But then I'm an old fart, back in the day I used to go out with a guy who played Alto Sax in a band back in Tassie, they used to play a lot of Santana and Doors like stuff, and Byron used to do a great rendition of Baker Street. Ah to be young again.
But not too bad a sound though, given it is coming from a digital handheld type camera. |
Cool glad you like it. Nope no slow stuff from these guys live anyway. They have been told to save that for a CD. One has to keep the crowd going.
|
aaaaaah, the marketing department!
|
Ahhhhhhhh!
The Internet is down. The service provider has a mega problem. It covers a large swath of the city. So I have no email and I have to play on pelican with my cell phone and Tapatalk. :( |
david, your son is damn good. great vid.
d. |
thanks D. There is room for improvement. Thanks for the vid help. I think next time I'll start and stop it to make smaller files. I did find out I am supposed to be able to edit it with quicktime pro so I could cut it into songs.
|
Aggggaaaa. I got home and no cable tv or Internet. Back to it trusty iPhone to see if the world still exists.
|
did handbrake work for you? if so, what settings?
you can get lightworks (free) and do proper editing, such as cutting it into songs, etc., and effects. you would have to change the formatting of the file, first, with handbrake, but i would do that anyway, so that the file size is smaller within lightworks. also, if you are willing to use linux, there are some GREAT free (did i mention free?) video editing software packages. you can use a live CD, never even install linux on your computer, and do the editing. yeah, i was amazed. and it worked light the biz. the linux download i've been playing with has some spectacular editing software packaged with it. cheers, d. |
At least I can post and read pelican so the extraterrestrials did not destroy the world. (I hope).
|
we are the extra-terrestrials.....
|
handbrake smashed it down to less than a gig.
I used the last settigns you sent. |
Glen, don't worry the world is still here!!
Well sort of .... u |
unless you are sitting in a house next door to the center of Hamas Government in Gaza!!
Holy 5hit, WWIII, what are they thinking!! |

edit: it will take it down even farther if you reduce the quality of the video. even a small adjustment will make a huge difference in the file size. |
