The snake talk made me think of badger bayer, mushroom, snake.
|
And a great good morning to you too.
|
Sat down in the lazy boy at 7pm to watch a movie. Next thing I know it's 2am and I feel kinda groggy. Must have blacked out or something. Hope it didn't have anything to do with a tumor or aliens.
|
Morning Richard, Markus.
I'm going for the aliens. And stuffed mushies for dinner. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1374485696.jpg |
G'morning, Jeff. That looks tasty.
|
Oh my, the mushies were bloody delish. Following it up with Salted Caramel and Chocolate Coated Hazelnut Icecream.
Morning Jim. |
Icecream for breakfast!!!
Me I just had cereal. Morning y'all! hi ho hi ho, blah blah blah blah................ Will be single for the next couple of days, hubby going up to Connecticut for some ceremony for our new Romeo Helo's, first one ready or something. Woohoo not much cooking needed for me, the midget is happy with a piece of toast when hubby is away!! |
Good Monday morning folks.
I was so happy to get to work I came in 25 minutes early. I got a lot accomplished this weekend, but it was a lot of work. That physical labor stuff is like hard to do and hot and sweaty. The cars look a lot better and the yard is in great shape. Bermuda grass loves the 100 degree heat and sunshine. I had three times as much grass clippings compared to before the fertilizer. What idiot decided to fertilize? Next weekend I will spend an entire day just waxing and cleaning on the 911. After the road trip it deserves a full detail. |
Morning, Glen. Now that you're at work you can get some rest. ;)

morning everyone. The wedding this past weekend was a success. The bride and groom got a lot of compliments on the ceremony.

I am sure glad to be past the age where friends are getting married. I have to got to the occasional wedding of a kid of a friend. It seems all of my wife's friends have the most boring weddings and receptions ever. Sitting in a church basement drinking some lame punch with dry cake, nuts and mints does not cut it.
My friends have great receptions. Open bar, shrimp, crab cakes and entire meals. |
Last wedding I went to had a very quick reception at the church with cake and punch and the cutting, snd tossing events for the old folks, then moved to a pizza joint and had what was billed as the world's largest pizza. It was about 6 ft diameter thick with cheese and toppings and had a slice left after feeding 50 people all they wanted.

I have photographed a couple hundred weddings. I have seen a lot of strange ones. One couple did the cheapest wedding possible. They got married at the bride's parents house. It was a 1,000 sq ft house with the tiny living room - kitchen area. They opened the sliding glass door in the back yard and the bride stepped inside. They had Bennie-weenies for the finger food. One cupcake for the "wedding cake" and iced tea for the drinks.
The most bizarre was a couple from some African country that wanted to get married in a Presbyterian church. Not one single guest made it to the church on time for the wedding. NOT ONE. The guests were arriving as we were shooting the get in the car and drive away photos. We drove to the reception at a local community center and guests arrived for 3 hours. Normally a wedding shoot is for just 3 hours. I was there for 6 hours. After 4 hours the bride & groom had a ceremony with the elders of the eating of the Kola nut. It must taste terrible because everyone made a horrible face as they tasted it. I shot a ton of pictures and made lots of money on that wedding. |

Ya, I'm anti social... |
Yea, weddings are all for the bride. It is cool how weddings just get planned. No work at all, just spend money on tux rental and it is done. My wedding was easier, but I did buy a suit and shoes. And a ring of course. Actually two rings. One expensive diamond ring for her one gold ring for me.

I love going to weddings. But for me? No thanks. Overrated. Would rather have a party with close friends.
