Morning guys. Perfect Monday weather here...wet and dreary. Time to get ready for w***.

fintstone 02-11-2013 02:36 AM

Work sucks!
I have the job I always dreamed of...and it still sucks worse than ever.

I guess if it were fun, they would call it a hobby and you would have to pay them to let you do it.

Yep...typical Monday...a 45 min drive on back roads in the pouring rain where every single moron I meet cannot manage to dim their lights until I finally blind them with mine...then the four lane where everyone going my way insist on driving slowly in the passing/fast lane (don't they teach Driver's Ed in VA?).
Now sitting on the train with a headache for an hour and a half in wet shoes with a wet umbrella. It is uncomfortable and at least 80 degrees F. Working up a nice sweat before going back out into the cold.

The guy in front of me must have a flatulence problem...and apparently had Brussels sprouts for dinner last night and perhaps..boiled eggs for breakfast.

G'day G. They are cute, they look like sisters :)

That little girl is Gemma. She lives next door and is the little sister of our Hugo (the black and white boy with the doggles on). She had a sleepover through the weekend when her family buggered off to Sydney. As you can see she claimed our bed on Sunday morning. I was unpacking my suitcase from our holiday and stuck those ears and tail on her (bought for our grand daughter) - she didn't flinch

G'day Jim, fint

Off to bed for me. Night all

fintstone 02-11-2013 03:17 AM

G'day mate...good night!

oh the joys of public transport hahahahahahahahaha!! Be thankful that no one is allowed to smoke anymore, otherwise the match might have ignited the flatulence, at least you would be able to see who it is then!!

Jeff, they look beautiful those mutts, got to love a Border Collie.

Rainy Monday morning here in So MD, just washed marilyn yesterday, and the midget wanted a lift to the bus stop, just cause it was raining, aaaaahhhhhhh! Now she is dirty again, damn midgets, what a wooz.

Morning all

My commute is a bit easier this AM. I walked a few blocks and hopped on a bus. So far so good. At the office in 6-7 minutes from now. :)

GH85Carrera 02-11-2013 04:54 AM

I hear the stories of trains and long commutes and I just smile and love my 12 minute commute of 8 miles. If the 2 traffic lights I go through are cooperating and green I can make it in 10 minutes.

The new dogs slept in until we got up at 6:00 AM. Mrs Carrera went in there to take then outside and they were still sleeping. While they were exploring the house this morning they followed me into the closet and saw themselves in the mirror. They figured they just found new playmates. They wagged their tails and did the play bow to get the other dogs to come out and play. It was obvious it was the first time they had seen themselves.

Good Monday morning folks.

Porsche-poor 02-11-2013 05:27 AM

Good morning all. Off to the salt mine soon. Could be an interesting week not much to do for a change.

fintstone 02-11-2013 05:34 AM

Yep...I left a short commute with a reserved parking spot at the front door for this job. So much for upward career moves. Not sure if the job is bad or it just seems that way because of the commute.

Maybe it is just because they won't let me kill the bad guys.

Jferr006 02-11-2013 05:36 AM

Probably the commute.. hubs loves what he does but, it's a lot of driving.

Your fellow commuters?

Porsche-poor 02-11-2013 05:41 AM

Killing probably creates to much paperwork for someone.

Porsche-poor 02-11-2013 09:06 AM

I'm bored. Oh yeah I'm at work I'm supposed to be bored.

Jim Richards 02-11-2013 09:36 AM

To one full of expectation, a moment seems a year.

Porsche-poor 02-11-2013 09:40 AM

Been playing in the cookies again?

Jferr006 02-11-2013 09:41 AM

I wish I was busy at work, I hate being slow. But, I have a job...for now.
