i've been using a shock collar on the pup for some things that she has been incorrigible: getting on the kitchen table (yes, all the way on the table to attack food) and being aggressive with our son (he is going to have at least two persistent scars on his lip and an ear). the shock level goes to seven.... i found that she reacts at 4, but 'gets the message' at 5. i've resisted the urge to max it out, just because i am frustrated.

flame away.

Flame away for what? I want one for the kid.

unless i am mistaken, you have dark hair and you are older than 30.... if you don't already have some gray hairs, you have some superior genetics.

are we still good, jferr?

Jferr006 02-21-2013 02:52 PM

Dark hair yes, 28 though...although I do have good generics :D

Yes we are still good ;)

i mention a shock collar for the dog and some peeps freak out...

i suggested using the collar on our son.... the wife wasn't even a little bit amused. and i was talking about the beep feature, no shock. in jest, of course, but i got the stink eye and a lecture. *sigh*

Jferr006 02-21-2013 02:54 PM

Evening Pete. How is the snow up there?

Porsche-poor 02-21-2013 03:05 PM

evening all. I have an hour to go at work......no motivation as in ZERO!!!!

RKDinOKC 02-21-2013 03:05 PM

Tried a shock collar on my current Golden. She is so alpha it had ZERO effect. Very glad i borrowed it instead of paying for one.

Icemaster 02-21-2013 03:08 PM

We avoided the snow Glen, supposed to get it with some ice/freezing crap tonight. Been lucky so far.

How're you doin? Everything going ok?

Icemaster 02-21-2013 03:09 PM

Smile David, it's over soon. :-).
