Cussing is not a bad thing. By cussing you can raise your tolerance for pain in a painful situation, and no substitute words do not work.

I wanna be like him in all aspects (look, management style, general behavior). I'm sure my staff will really appreciate it. :D

RKDinOKC 03-11-2013 07:47 AM

Don't think I would want to commit to the look enough to shave the beard.

He insisted hijack could only be used in reference to a plane...I copy/pasted the definition and emailed it to all of them.

I vote you hijack his office!!!!

I found a neat photo of my mom's parents when they were "courting"

That is so cool!

GH85Carrera 03-11-2013 12:50 PM

Yea, there are huge piles of photos I need to scan.

This is my grandmother when she was a kid having fun. No roads to ride on, just wagon trails.

Jim Richards 03-11-2013 12:58 PM

Those pictures are great, Glen. I wish I had a lot of old family photos, but unfortunately, no luck. :(

The transport company is planning on picking up the garage queen tomorrow. Of course part of the day tomorrow is supposed to be rainy. Oh, the humanity!

I don't even have pictures of myself as a baby. Nor my parents. My mom said we lost most of them in the war and while coming to the US. And once we were in the US, it was a couple of years before my parents could afford a camera. I have one picture of myself when I was about 18 months. Then none until I was about 4. And then, we only have a handful. They were pictures taken by our sponsor family. My grandfather's house in Vietnam was bombed by the communists. I don't know what my grandmother from my dad's side looks like. Treasure those photos. You are lucky you have them.

nynor 03-11-2013 01:23 PM

the war. damn.

Jim Richards 03-11-2013 01:24 PM

That's sad, tweeze.

BTW, did you receive the PM from me a couple of days ago? Just checking that you got it.

nynor 03-11-2013 01:26 PM

Won't driving her make you recover faster? ;)

Just got an email from the kids school they will not put up an 11x17 poster for his show on the 23rd. I have to get the district to approve it.....$@#%@#$%#$ all the other schools love the fact that they have paid bands going to their schools and make a bid deal out of it. I get shot down by the district its pay back time.

Yea, it is.

I am indeed lucky to have all those photos. Right now looking at the huge pile to scan I don't feel so lucky. ;)

I have read some family history that mentions a relative getting shot in the shoulder during the civil war. I have ration stamps and tokens from WW2.

Some of those photos are over 100. My grandparents in the photo above were born in 1900. I have some baby photos of them.
