Our dog is "well trained" on taking her toys out.

Connor is the only one in the house who will drink coffee. Sad.

Have been unsuccessful training my dogs to put their toys away. My other golden was really really smart. She would fetch all kinds of stuff by name, including beer from an ice chest. She could turn the tv on and off, and open and close doors, cabinet doors and the ice box (if there was a towel hanging on the ice box handle.) But she just never got the put thing is the basket, or trash in a trash can, she would just fetch stuff and drop it when told. My current dog will fetch a couple of times, but loses interest and very very very reluctantly gives anything up.

The really interesting thing is the dog that doesn't want to give you anything she fetches doesn't care if you take food out of her mouth. The super smart do everything dog would go berserk if you got even said anything about her food while she was eating, and growl and snap if you got too close.

Had this 130mm brass laying around.....thought 'hey, ill turn it into an ashtray'......then 'first I should decorate it'
Tried my hand at a little modern trench art, the logo is a cigar brand, think I'm gonna put a few more logos on, then make a teak insert to rest on the mouth with cigar rests carved

Purdy, Joe.

Thanks!
I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. Not bad for my first time and using a 4d nail as a punch!

The question is will she have a cow if you try and take one. Our Boston T. will gather them all up and take inventory of hers and the labs. Take one and she goes nuts, not mean just freaks out the number is not right.

Nope, he is laid back. That was a few minutes of fun. He was off to other toys. We can take toys or food away anytime with no protest.

Good night folks. Time for bed. It still feels early but I will toss and turn for 2 minutes max. I adjust to time changes very quickly.

Outback Porsche 03-11-2013 07:26 PM

Alright, who did it?

Which one of you lot passed on their man-flu? Any time you want it, you can have it back!

Home in bed, grumpy.............:(
