Halfway there...at least I didn't have to get up early.

if she keeps that up, she will need some lube.

Well I already whipped Beth with my socks and told her it was time to get up. I then informed her I was putting my boots on and they were next in the escalation of force.
If you never see me again you'll know I tried it. |
Haha, good morning!
Kid wants me to drive him to school today at 5 he's too cool for the hour bus ride. |
Didn't have to ride a bus till Jr High.
After 3rd grade we were able to ride our bicycles to school. If they were tagged, and you and the bike passed the safety test. |
Within 2 miles there was...
Drug store with huge candy counter and soda fountain, 2 grocery stores, convenience store, 5 and dime store, public library, automotive/hardware store, drive in, 2 public swimming pools, a YMCA, and 2 hobby shops. Oh yeah, and a dairy. |
That would have been nice. We're in the country now but, not middle of nowhere. It's about 13 miles to the one primary school in the county. Takes me 10 mins to get there but, an hour for the bus.

I was going to say an hour on the bus, jeez you must live in the middle of no where, but its just a million other children live between you and the school, so the bus stops heaps, what a bummer. Midget catches the bus, and is mortified if I want to take him to school, I think he loves the social aspects of the bus ride.

I'm sure my little love bug will be the same way in a few years. Just soaking it up while he still likes being seen with me.

Stijn!!
If I had someone driving me to school in a Porsche, I would feel way cooler than if I was riding the bus.
Sitting at the airport... :) |
Jealous, Jim.
If he plays his cards right he'll be driving the Porsche to school hisself. |
Is the garage queen already there?
|
Stijn!!
No. It left DC for Mass. and then off to the west coast.
|
Separation anxiety yet?
|
Stijn!!
Oh, hell yes!

Good Friday Morning folks.
When I was in 1st grade I walked to school. My older brother was in 3rd grade and we went to the same school. I remember walking by a long row of honey suckle. We would eat a bunch of them. I remember it as miles each way but I bet it was just a few blocks. I went to school barefoot and with no shirt. As an adult I loved teasing my parents about how hard it was going to school with no shirt and no shoes. Of course I never wore shoes and only wore a shirt when my my mom made me "dress up." Growing up in Hawaii had advantages for casual clothes. One Easter getting ready for church my mom discovered I had outgrown all of my shoes. I had to wear flip flops to church. It must have scarred me for life. I am sitting at work now wearing shorts! :D :D It is supposed to be 80 today. I love my shorts. |
Stijn!!
My office is a bit too conservative for shorts.
|
Stijn!!
Talk to y'all later from SoCal. SmileWavy

Shorts and a t-shirt are my standard all summer long. Jeans for the winter time.
