hehe.

Use the same fine sugar you'd use to make a meringue.

Jim Richards 03-06-2013 02:17 PM

It may also be called Baker's Sugar.

Hey azzy, Lu is looking over your recipe and wanted to know what "caster sugar" is. Thanks!

That is sugar the you run over with the casters on the office chair. It has extra grit for flavor. ;)

Ya can't believe Google, I like my version better.

Outback Porsche 03-06-2013 02:26 PM

Your probably closer to the truth than you think for how it got it's name. ;)

It wouldn't surprise me if it's something to do with the milling process.

azzarule 03-06-2013 02:35 PM

you guys are so funny, and Jeff is right, that picture with the yellow packaging is what I would use.

azzarule 03-06-2013 02:36 PM

Going to attempt to cook this evening. Had the personal shopper add some 73% lean ground beef, couple of cans of Rotel tomatos and chilies, an onion, a few jalapeņos, some fresh cilantro, a packet of William's original Chili seasoning, a gallon of milk, and a box of saltine crackers to our list of things to get. All this talk of wintery weather made me chili hungry.

azzarule 03-06-2013 02:59 PM

don't go too mad with the chili

oh yeah you got plenty of milk!

I have my father's land line forwarded to my cell phone. I received a phone call today and the caller claimed their inspector was driving past my house and noticed the roof had damage and they would do a free roof inspection. I told her to fire that stupid blind inspector because the roof (on my dad's house) is less than a year old. She hung up on me.

azzarule 03-06-2013 03:25 PM

Yeah right, a "free" roof inspection, they prey on older people, that they can't get up and see what they are talking about, and feel that they must get something done about a leaking roof

RKDinOKC 03-06-2013 03:32 PM

Watch out for nails.

3 knocked on my door telling me I needed a new roof right after I got a new roof!

Watch out for nails.

And it looks like this....

azzarule 03-06-2013 03:42 PM

the roof looks almost as good as the car!!!

Nails, yeah right.

azzarule 03-06-2013 03:43 PM

funny how you guys her in the states have the bitumen type tile, haven't seen that in Oz

azzarule 03-06-2013 03:44 PM

noting your house number on the street, what is with the house numbering system here in the states, have I asked this question before, did anybody tell me the answer?

Seniors moment

azzarule 03-06-2013 03:46 PM

our number in Oz and everywhere else I have been are consecutive easy to predict, equate to how many houses or blocks of land are in the street etc, here? I live in a street of about maximum 10 houses, and my street number is 44906 WTF!

Outback Porsche 03-06-2013 03:46 PM

Well, that wasn't fun. :(

Ever tried wiping your arse with a damaged wing? Other than bloody uncomfortable, not too sure how successful that was. I hope I don't start smelling like a river dweller.
