I wasn't mean... Well, ok. I called you dork. Sorry. But it's the truth! You already have my number. Now see, if you would have just asked me out... ;)

And Joe, you never asked for it. Why are men so dense? Of course I said no, you asked for my number... that you already have. Of course you don't have my number, you never asked for it. Of course I won't marry you, I already stated I would never get married again. Men always say women need to say what they mean but are you sure you guys are even listening?

Joe...you are just asking wrong. Just post "Tweeze, I need your number so I can call you to plan our trip to Hawaii on my yacht"

Yep. Surfing trip to Hawaii. These kids are slow. :D

Jim, I can't wait to see completed pics!

And fintstone, you might be right...

tweezers74 03-28-2013 07:40 PM

See? Teach these young fellas a thing or two!

If I ever get a couple of days off where I don't have to do reserve duty...I should do the same to my master bath here. It is hard to get motivated when I plan to leave here so soon and the 4 bathrooms in my empty house in Vegas are stilll brand new...most only used a few times in the 7 years I have owned the house. I guess these will get done after I retire and need a hobby.

Actually I think Sid is going to sell that number to pay off college loans.

A fine woman deserves fine things. That is why men work so hard.

HHI944 03-28-2013 07:45 PM

Hey, in my defense, I haven't asked Tweeze to marry me in quite a while!

True. True. At least you don't keep knocking your head against the wall. :) I know you are trainable now.

Jim Richards 03-28-2013 07:50 PM

You're slipping, Joe!

HHI944 03-28-2013 07:53 PM

Well, I've had my share of smokes, beer and food and nearly took the rear tires off a 2013 XKR today....I think that makes for a full day and now I'm going to bed........night y'all

fintstone 03-28-2013 07:54 PM

Good Morning folks.

Max good to see ya back. I bought the Montrose CD the other day. I had the album back when it came out in 1972. It is a great album. Check it out. Bad Motor Scooter is a favorite of mine.

I can dig it.

Made some good progress on the FSAE car today. Tomorrow should be good as well. Alissa is back in town and we are back up to 2 manual lathes instead of 1. Why no one checked the circuit breaker first when the lathe "broke" weeks ago I have no idea...

Morning Y'all. It's a good friday.

So I have spent the last few days digging through government grants looking for capital to open a guitar store, and I am rather pissed. I was always told I was the most unemployable person in the states because of my race and gender, and to some extent I have always known it but to see it in black and white really sets a slow burn somewhere deep inside of me.
If I was,
A: Female
B: a minority
C: Disabled
D: a veteran
or my all-time favorite, a foreigner
I would be in like Flynn.
Don't get me wrong I am all about giving Vets a leg up and sending them to the front of the line, for this type of thing, but damn.
Okay if I renounce my citizenship then apply for a green card I could do it.

My female, vet daughter might just be opening my store, she likes that idea. I wish I felt good about doing it that way..........

fintstone 03-29-2013 02:47 AM

Why does being an animal doctor help one open a guitar store?

fintstone 03-29-2013 02:49 AM

Do you believe that a person would make a good living running/owning a guitar store? Where is the profit? It seems one would have to sell a lot if guitars to pay the rent.
