Wow everyone is on the ball this morning.

Great pictures Alarick, would love to do an event like the Targa Tasmania or Targa California, looks like a great time, had by all. Those DB's were beautiful, some people just have too much money. Looks like a perfect event for Miss Daisy, nice and steady and fun to boot, if only she wasn't still in Oz.

Glad Rick/Jeff clarified the "cut the grass" terminology, in Oz that is just such a different meaning. Sure Beth wouldn't be happy about that at all. But wish I had a little tractor to sit on and drink an ale while whizzing around cutting grass. Don't need to do that,we have someone come and do it as we don't have a little tractor, but would be run.

How cool is this for a kids bedroom, don't fancy making the bed, but it looks so cool

Rick V 04-14-2013 05:34 AM

Azzy my offer is open to you as well. :)

azzarule 04-14-2013 05:37 AM

we did a Ferrari bed for our youngest, tyres steering wheel and all, looked so cool, he had it for about 4 years, was a bastard to make his bed, it was red of course, but stupid us never took a photo, but he loved it. it was about 8 foot long end to end, I printed out the pattern on our plotter at work and we cut it out of particle board, and spray painted it, and got set of decals etc.

azzarule 04-14-2013 05:39 AM

Very cool. My son's a budding Tifosi, as well. But this was as decorative as I got (except for a couple posters on the wall).

Morning all.

Jim Richards 04-14-2013 09:28 AM

Morning David.

We went bombing around the NoVA countryside in the Jetta the past couple of hours. Nice, but it's not the same as doing it in a 911.

Porsche-poor 04-14-2013 09:59 AM

No bombing here. Have band practice to get the kid to then prep for Thursday gig. More rain on the way.

aaaahhh .....no, definitely not the same, but at least it was a beautiful day, the car doesn't matter (just keep telling yourself that!!!!).

Steve and David went for a bike ride this morning, I caught up in the car!!!

Did I tell you guys I fell down the stairs the other day, so am temporarily a cripple, the thing that actually hurts the most is the shoulder cause I tried to stop myself from falling. The right knee and ankle are just is not working too well, very sore but the arm is really pi55ing me off.

azzarule 04-14-2013 01:05 PM

anyone going to go to the May 5th Deutsche Marque Concourse in Vienna , VA?

Thought it might be a fun day to see a few good German cars.
