OKC tornado
 

I finished up a photo for a client yesterday. This is a small part of the image. It is a small chunk of the damage from the BIG tornado that hit Oklahoma City on May 3th, 1999. That tornado is the one that had 300 MPH winds.

Anyway this photo shows the clear path of destruction. The amazing part is that as bad as the destruction is just a block away the houses are OK. The grass was pulled from the ground in places. Some houses were reduced to clean concrete foundations. I watched it on the news from my house and we never lost electricity. We knew exactly where the tornado was at all times so we knew we were safe. This was 13 miles almost straight south of my house.

This was shot two days after the tornado.

Just think Sid, your second day on the job. In 40 years or so you can retire if you plan for it now. You will need to work had to pay off the national deficit. :)

I brought donuts to the office this morning. Better get 'em before they're all gobbled up. :)

I need to find a local Ubuntu guru. I think I found one that works at the same place my wife works.

I spent a ton of time trying to figure out how to get a folder of files to delete from the trash. Google saved me this time.

Evening guys. I had a treat today, had to wear my sunglasses on the way home. :)

the weather here is terrible. i did manage to drop the ducati off at the shop for new belts.

It was nice here today too.... Sadly I had to spend all day behind a cash register...

We sold a parakeet and a rat today....
