I am not allowed to own a watch. I break them. Bands, faces, knobs or buttons. Just to hard on them.

Jim Richards 07-17-2013 06:18 AM

Great idea, David. If I could just swing a home purchase in Hawaii. :D

It doesn't cost anything to dream.;)

My Dad didn't wear watches because he stopped them...He tried all different kinds, wind, automatic, electric, quartz and within week they would just stop. One of my older brothers gave him a Rolex and he wore when he got dressed up, but it was like a ring because it was always stopped.

If you want cheap, you could always start collecting your finger and toenail clippings.

Jim Richards 07-17-2013 06:23 AM

I haven' worn a watch in about 20 years.

RKDinOKC 07-17-2013 06:35 AM

Watch out..

Here...watch this.

Can I watch?

Better watch yourself.
You just watch yourself Mister.

Watch it.

I can't watch.

Hide and watch

I wear a cheap Casio watch. It is solar powered and syncs with the atomic clock every night. It has the titanium back and stainless steel band. It takes a lot of abuse and just keeps working.

I do have a Bulova Astronaut at the watch shop waiting on parts to fix it.

It looks kind of like this one.

Richard, you are funny. I have to admit I look at a men's watch when I am "scoping" him out. Don't care how much, what brand, etc. I like how he "accessories" with a watch. But, I usually prefer large watch faces on men's watches.

And Janet, a moment of silence for this sad day. One of my heartthrobs is taken. Now if Ryan Gosling gets hitched...

I have an invicta Skeleton that gets TONS of attention. Its the watch I wear the most these days, and I don't have any trouble reading it. People always comment on it and want to check it out. It was $95 and gets more comments than a $500 watch.

I have not used a watch since my GUL broke down six or seven years ago. No jewelry or accessories at all actually. Like to travel light.

For the last 16 years I've been wearing one of these (except mine has a black background face). It's only just had another service and should be good for a while now.
