You can send it to me Joe... I'll store it for free! ;)

Evening guys. Getting up and taking the Focus ST to autocross in the AM, realized this was my last chance to run that car. I'll be sure to get video, I have high hopes for the angry little Ford!

The only thing I don't like about it (other than the low end simmons scope) is that it's chambered .223 instead of 5.56

I'm gonna swing by my gunsmith and see if he has the appropriate chamber reamer.
If he does, I'll probably start looking for a nice leupold to slap on top.

I am so seriously stoked about getting a Glycine Airman Special again!
I can't believe I sold my first one...

Morning Y'all

pete3799 12-15-2013 04:22 AM

Morn'n Rick.
All set for the showing today?

Rick V 12-15-2013 04:31 AM

Hey Pete, Yeah just gonna leave a little before they get here, go to lunch and come back. One thing that I am a little curious about is the fact that the realtor that is coming out today is from the office where I fired the first guy for being a schmuck. Just makes me wonder

Rick V 12-15-2013 04:31 AM

So are you not trucking anymore?

pete3799 12-15-2013 05:06 AM

No. Trying to find something new to do. Like to find a not too big project 911 to work on this winter but prices are drifting upward rapidly.
Maybe I just need to buy some (any model) rust free southern cars and flip them up here.

Rick V 12-15-2013 05:08 AM

When I hauled a car to the U.P. of Michigan I was asked no less than six times to sell Peggy on the spot. There were none of them left up there due to rust. I can see you being able to carve out a nice little biz doing this.

Jim Richards 12-15-2013 06:46 AM

Yeah, NE or upper Midwest cars rust away at the thought of winter. They need a fresh infusion of southern cars.

I worked with this guy about 12 years ago: Rustfree Classic 4x4 & 2 & 4 wheel drive Truck s, K5 Blazer s, Bronco s & Suburban s - rust free western Califronia Ford, Chevrolet, Chevy, & GMC 4x4's 4wd 2wd

He has a nice gig going, really pleasant man.

Off-topic: Rick there is a 2002 in Farmville...if I get serious about it want to meet me there and take a look?

All mileage and chow, etc. on me!

GH85Carrera 12-15-2013 07:09 AM

Good morning folks. The sun is out and the sky is blue. We had about forgot what the sun looks like. It is supposed to be mid 50s today so I will be washing cars. I really need to clean out the garage. The leaves are thick. It is amazing how many leaves can sneak in there.

Got the foot of snow all rearranged. Real light fluffy stuff.

It would be my pleasure. I can do a pre exam for you if you would like to save you the trip.
Dinner is on me and I have spare rooms if you want to crash here and leave home refreshed in the morning.
I might even try and sell you a small house. :D

Jim Richards 12-15-2013 09:44 AM

Hey Rick, good luck on this afternoon's showing.

Rick V 12-15-2013 09:52 AM

Thanks Jim. We had another house in the hood go on the market in the last couple of days, same price but half the size. That might help me a little.

We'll be heading to Cape Cod in a couple weeks. For the kids I'm hoping there will still be snow on the ground.
