My wife sprayed a few areas of the pre-mix stuff and it more or less just watered the plants. I sprayed some weeds with the good stuff between the outside garage and the pool and they are dead. Says it will prevent for four months but that I don't believe. The rubber membrane going down I do believe will prevent for at least 4 months.

Vacation has been booked. no one stand blocking the doors on 8/14 or you will have foot prints up one side and down the other!!!

My wife sent me an email today. She has had 150 emails to deal with today. I suggested to her to tell the IT folks that on July 1 to forward her email to Nanna-Nana-Boo-Boo@Retired.com.

Evening Y'all,
Well for dealing with poison ivy and poison oak and such you can keep your over the counter potions, I have a guaranteed one shot kill formula that will get you 25-life in Ca.
Diesel fuel and brake fluid, a 50-50 mix, a pump up sprayer and you have agent orange.

When we first moved to this house we had poison ivy in the back yard. Didn't know for 5 years cause none of us reacted to it. The Home Depot stuff knocked it right out.

Dang, Baja Oklahoma is sending up a tropical storm tomorrow. We have some outer bands of it now. Several inches of heavy rain tomorrow.

We don't really need that much rain. Dang Baja Oklahoma and their tropical storms.

porsche4life 06-16-2015 09:02 PM

Glen, you can tell a Texan, but you can't tell him much! Apparently stop sending rain isn't one of those things. ;)

Glad my parents live on a hill, their neighbor down in the river bottom may be in trouble, river already high and ground is saturated...

Good freakin early morning!

Fell asleep watching TV in the recliner just after 7pm yesterday evening. Awoke at 3am with a lap full of Pepper's toys and her trying to get me to play with her. Guess she figured I had slept long enough.

Jim Richards 06-17-2015 01:46 AM

Richard, you are one of Pepper's toys.

Good Humpday morning everyone. Tropical Storm Bob arrives today. Eastern parts of the state are gonna get a bunch of rain.

Sid, it looks like Bob is going just east of OKC so your parents likely won't see any rain at all from Bob. Boy that sounds like a stupid sentence. I have heard "Bob's your Uncle" on Wheeler Dealers but never Bob is not going to bring rain.

I really hope we don't get a lot of rain. I HAVE to mow the yard Friday and I don't want to do it on a squishy yard. I have enough ruts from the mower in my yard.

Morning Everyone! Long time

ckelly78z 06-17-2015 04:20 AM

I was tired when I came home from work yetsterday and (not what I usually do) turned on the TV and reclined in my lazyboy. I woke up an hour later with 1 cat, and two kittens on my lap with a dog's chin resting on my arm staring at me.

Yep, she's getting the whole neighborhood trained.

At the drive up window at a local convenient store, Long John Silvers, burger joints, Walgreens Pharmacy, and my Bank, Pepper says "Hello" to them and they give her a treat. Now she says hello at all the drive up windows and is very disappointed if she doesn't get a treat. May have to start carrying some for her.

At the convenient store a guy waiting at the register heard her say hello to the clerk at the drive up window then bought and gave her a Slim Jim. Pepper REALLY liked that.

At the Homeland the bagger chick has to always help me out with my groceries so she can pet Pepper and give her a treat. Can't imagine why Pepper just LOVES to go for a ride.

When I had my first golden, Penny I would go get a steak sandwich at a local drive-in and they would always give her a hot dog. In the 17 years I had her I only went on one trip that I didn't take her with me. My second golden, Camber, did not like going for a ride at all, and didn't mind well enough for me to take her anywhere, she was Mom's dog.

Still working on Pepper minding and staying close to me no matter what like Penny did.

RKDinOKC 06-17-2015 05:45 AM

When I'm sitting at my desk working Pepper will say Hello to get my attention.

Yesterday I had to go to a doctor's appointment and couldn't take Pepper with me. While I was headed out the door told her to Stay and I would be back. Pepper said everything I ever asked her to say to try to get me to take her with me...Hello, I Love You, I want out, Good Morning, and Another one.

My first golden only said "I want out" one time. But you could go thru the list of things she might want and she would do a bark that sounded like Yes when you got to the one she wanted. She was a very smart dog.

Oklahoma is a big producer of Country music stars from Woody Guthrie to Garth Brooks and Reba McEntire Carrie Underwood and many more. Bob Dunn was the first person to make a record playing an electric guitar.

I still really don't care for C&W music. I will say it is better than RAP but that is like saying a broken arm is better than a broken leg.
