Richard I use a product called Black Again. Wipe it on and set the car in the sun. The UV is supposed to help set it. You have seen my 1985 911. Those are the original rubber parts. Swing by and I will let you try some Black again.

Wheee! got my hands on an old MB 2.4l Diesel to rebuild. Just the engine.
I'm gonna take my time and eventually drop it into the Rover. There's a guy that sells the bits to make it fit and claims nearly 30mpg with slightly better power than the 2.25l petrol that comes in it from Rover. This could be fun

Got all the front seals changed... Time to bolt the pump back on and then the rear cover, then the tensioners..... Then new belts!

I'm in some s*(% right now that I have no way of briefly explaining. But it is absolutely insane and through some crazy happenings it looks like I have time to pop open the laptop ans post on PPOT.


For now all I can say is that it involves two very beautiful women, my bed, and lots of anger between the two. It's not a bad spot to be in, but the specifics of the situation are getting slightly annoying.

ARGH!!!! I've got the wrong farking water pump! I managed to order the damned on that says its for an '86. The one without the damn rail.... I needed the one that says its for an '87 that has the rail!!!! ****! I was planning on having a Porsche for prom on friday.... :(
