I went to visit my engine today. My friend that has a place with a lift and the room to do it the easy way had time for visitation.

went to replace the coolant overflow pipe on the disco and the brittle plastic nipple on the radiator side came off with the pipe.......craptastic....whomever decided that hard plastic was a good cooling system material needs to go to hell and die and get a pineapple shoved up their arse....

It should be a few weeks yet to get it fired up. The entire project is at a friends place since he has a lift. Right in the middle of everything his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. My car can wait while they work through that. The good news is they had a good report on Monday and she is healing well.
