While talking with my dad today he asked me if I wanted his old motorbike when he's done with her - Hell Yes I said! It's an old 1972 Honda CB125 and badly needs some loving. It looked very similar to this new; http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1387965125.jpg I'm giddy with excitement as he indicated he's probably too old to ride her anymore and will let it go sometime next year (Hell, hes 73 and probably shouldn't be driving let alone riding a bike :D) coz he's getting pressure from my mum to stop. It should be a fun restoration :D:D:D |

Looks like very teenage boy's pre-car dream. 'cept mine was a Yamaha 125 endure. Was in 8th grade. http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/Wmxx7mE_tnw/hqdefault.jpg Think the only difference in the Enduro was the front fender mounted higher and the burn your leg exhaust pipe. |

We are back from Enid and the Christmas gathering at mu MIL's house. It is a low pressure happy time. No arguments no fights just laughter. It would be a VERY boring movie. It could not be further from the funny movies about Christmas. |

Evening all. Hope your Christmas was a good one. |

Just got home from Brother's house across the alley. Oh man, Feel like the Christmas Goose, I AM STUFFED… 25 peoples at my brother's house. Retired employee always gives the family over 100 vietnamese spring rolls and some jacked up fried rice. They are from Laos and his wife cooks at one of the more popular chinese places in town. Everyone decided my Mango Salsa was better than the apricot sweet and sour sauce they usually put on them. Didn't really have a sit down. Just snacked all day starting at noon. About 5:30 pulled a turkey and fixins out of the oven and just added it to the borgassmord of foods and sweets. After family to family gift exchange (most everyone did the major opening before the gathering). 10 of the group put on a short Christmas Play based on Luke. My SIL has all kinds of costumes and props she has collected to do the play. The younger kids just love doing the play. The ad libs make it fun for all. Like when the narrator said Mary was great with child, Joseph looked over at her and said, "Mary, you are great." Only rule was if you heckle, you gotta take over the part of the character you heckled. Thunder game, then The Christmas Story (BB Gun one) on in the background. Instead of actually talking to each other everyone was relaying a group text around. |

Good night folks. Merry Christmas. |

A bit buggered. Spent this afternoon in the sun, helping the SIL assemble the trampoline that we gave our grand daughter. The little one was very pleased with our efforts. :) |
