GOOD GOD! I canīt leave you guys alone even for a couple of days!
Cheeeeriooo, boys! SmileWavy Here is a little anecdote from the conference I just attended. One of the lecturers on genetic diseases with immunodeficiency syndromes, was an elderly gentleman from Seattle. He obviously originated from Germany however, with a very typical German accent English. Furthermore he had been spending a lot of time in south America, Brazil particularly. You see where this is going. A few of us started to whisper jokes in the back row of the auditorium, about German doctors doing genetic experiment on children in Brazil. Then, as we are already giggling, the good doctor involuntarily hands us the punch line by himself. His computer suddenly broke and the pictures disappeared upon he apparently feel the inclination to make a joke about the sudden lack of electricity, going: "I think we are out of Jews". In a split second the back row went dead silent, next we were on the floor dying of laughter. The poor guy was obviously not aware of our associations, he looked happy that his joke was appreciated. |

Exciting weekend plans?
I was informed that I GET to drive 90 miles to Enid America to help set up my mother-in-law's former sister-in-law's computer. The lady lives in an assisted living center and they keep it 85 degrees in there. It sure sounds like fun. I will get a free lunch out of it!
I have to miss the Porsche club monthly breakfast to do it :( Anybody else have better plans for a three day weekend? |
