|
can't, the doc went like " hmmm, interesting specimen", went to his back room, heard some noise, exited whispering, then came back said i was fine, nothing to worry about, billed me and pushed me out the door.
|
Seems your doc is hoping to be published in 'Ear, nose and throat Year Book'.

Greetings from de middle of the English channel, halfway between Dunkirk and Dover.
Have my German vehicle in the carfo hold, ready to unload for a BlitzKrieg of a weekend. To bad the friggin boat is mostly loaded wit truckers, caravan pensioners and ugly womens. Not one half decent broad on the entire boat. Ain'nt no Love boat this one, i may be smooth like butter, but i think i'll give it a pass this time |
Don't forget to change your Euros to Pounds...

Are you trying to simulate the character of your new Avatar, Stijn? :D
|
what? Sat. mornings don't count around here? Huh? what kinda breakfast club is this?
|
I know, I know. Its ridiculous.
I have just had a little morning laughter. My brother have decided to build a new wing on his house and this morning they started digging. He has hired one of his friends to do the digging for the foundation. Heavy machinery. Well, after half an hour they managed to shovel threw a water pipe. An hour later, a big mother of a boulder started slipping off the shovel on the tractor, ending up crushing the neighbors fence. Good show! How is your morning coming along? |
sounds like having a Dr. on site is very good idea..

Markus, I hope you have your camera.

Update. Weekend turned out to be an execise of marathon agony.
Drive up there was good, good laptime which will surely have been logged onto som police film.. So be it i will ignore the loveletterss they send me. Arriving there , my lumbar reagon was rather "soft" , but did not notice, got out and lifted the present out of the trunk, at wich time the soft reagon instantly turned hard... In other words, i had done my back in. Went to hotel, got some meds in, hoped for the best in the morning, futile hope as it turned out.. Barely unable to get out of the bed. So i rebooked my ferry, last one out . Did tough it out for the actual wedding, and most of diner, the made another high-speed dash to Dover, wher i am now, boat about to set sail. I always get this kind of crap when i go somewhere. Itks not that i don't like to travel , au contraire , i love it. Being on the move that is, boat plane high speed car. I but i never seem to like being elsewhere.. Arrival is great, then i"m tired, take a nap. And as soon as i'm up again, i think abot being on the move again, and getting home... Really should just limit myself to the moving part... The car held up brilliantly though, fast nimble, comfortable seats... driving left side was no problem, adding just a dab of speed negates the problem of looking in the wrong direction when changing lanes... It's. 'always clear if you carry enough speed |
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate back problem, Stijn. Hope you get home alright and recover swiftly.
Guys, I did not have a camera with me but fortunately my medical services was not needed either. |
Almost in Dunkirk, then a 30 minute dash for home.
I'm sure Bubba & Boris will be more then happy to see me , even if from their perspective they probably just see me with " FOOD " stamped on my forehead. |
home.. time for a JD on the rocks
|
Don't forget to exchange your Pounds for Euros!
Feel better. |
