I feel the same way and I have not done it in over 30 years. So far so good!

Paint and ac in a box will hurt you, but still you should be in the 20k range...

If ours was running I would sell it to you Sid. It is of course white.

The preferred color of 911 for the discerning driver and Stijner.

porsche4life 05-23-2014 11:25 AM

Its a longhood right? I'd live with white for the right price on a long hood..

flipper35 05-23-2014 11:27 AM

Yes, it is a 71. New clutch and cable. It does need to be repainted.

porsche4life 05-23-2014 11:42 AM

Again... All depends on price. ;)

a/c in box will depend on where it goes. Here its not needed.

porsche4life 05-23-2014 12:06 PM

Here you go David...

2006 BMW M5 Interlago Blue 71k miles V10 Sedan

Insanely fast DD with all the posh comfort you could ever want. Good luck keeping rear tires on it though! ;)

Porsche-poor 05-23-2014 12:09 PM

Cool. I like the color! Yes I am partial to blue.

RKDinOKC 05-23-2014 12:11 PM

My pediatrist used to autocross his M5 at our local autocross. He was the previous owner of Brian Miller's 944 Turbo. He now DD a Buick Grand National. Says he loves burning rubber in 3rd gear by just mashing the bas.

porsche4life 05-23-2014 12:11 PM

BMW's do look good in blue... and thats an insane amount of car for 30k.

and seriously!!?!?

200k For "reasonably well done" body work and pan replacement?

Porsche-poor 05-23-2014 12:15 PM

for that amount of money I can buy a house. Think the little thing has at least a microwave?

RKDinOKC 05-23-2014 12:23 PM

For that kind of money I could get a new Targa with every single available option.

Porsche-poor 05-23-2014 12:24 PM

that is also very true. I think I might need a new wife as well...

RKDinOKC 05-23-2014 12:28 PM

Don't know what this option is called, and couldn't find it in the option codes or on the build-your-own list, But I LIKE IT!

GH85Carrera 05-23-2014 12:31 PM

A new wife will cost a LOT MORE MONEY!

Porsche-poor 05-23-2014 12:34 PM

True! That option post above will as well.

Looks like the one in Bend has been in an accident.

GH85Carrera 05-23-2014 12:35 PM

Richard that is the Bimbo option. It is VERY expensive and available to folks with much bigger checkbooks than yours. It is much like an American Express black card. That $5,000 per year fee and a minimum of $250,000 per year spent on the card keep me away.
