Our lawn got mowed yesterday... Every other Wednesday, like clockwork. ;)

Sid rumor has it that in Sept you are taking another trip. Your better half is supposed to get me dates and times so I can make a run up to see you. Lets hope the weather is still good I might have the 911 out.

Big Head Todd was up here in Madison for the fireworks Rhythm and Boom display.

Whole neighborhood behind me gets mowed every Thursday. It's part of their huge HOA fee. I've tried leaving my gate into their neighborhood open, but their mowing crew don't seem to be getting the hint.

Good music and a Pelican to boot.

azzarule 07-03-2014 12:38 PM

the kids let off some fireworks here last night to get in the mood, they were less than impressed, should have spent more apparently. Them not me. I didn't buy anything.

Porsche-poor 07-03-2014 12:40 PM

Several groups set stuff off last night. Tonight will be worse and then Friday will be the capper.

Rick V 07-03-2014 02:39 PM

Evening Y'all,
Gotta love a three day weekend and blowing stuff up. I think tomorrow after the parade I am gonna load Lanna up with some spoons and have some fun. I am going to watch the daughters boyfriend and a kid I work with hurt themselves when I break out the "big guns"

Porsche-poor 07-03-2014 02:41 PM

cruel and fitting punishment. Even worse the daughter will probably out shoot them.

Yanno I have a stack of paper targets and a buddy that keeps inviting me up to his place to poke holes in the targets. I have a box of 50 - 38s that I bought for $4.95 Maybe I should use em up.

Porsche-poor 07-03-2014 02:47 PM

yeah the paper might get old.

Rick V 07-03-2014 02:50 PM

I like to use clays for targets, they vaporize

something satisfying to hear a loud bang followed by poof no target.

GH85Carrera 07-03-2014 02:51 PM

Hey Rick,

With a lift, how long should it take to do an oil change & valve adjustment on a 85 911?

I am figuring 5 or 6 hours for me. ;)

Rick V 07-03-2014 03:31 PM

Couple of hours, it isn't a hard job but I am anal about perfection with the valves

porsche4life 07-03-2014 03:34 PM

I need to do some oil changes, but my first priority is insulating the garage door and finding a portable ac unit...

GH85Carrera 07-03-2014 04:37 PM

Stijn!!

Sid I think you have seen my garage AC setup. If you have a back door it is easy to do.

Outback Porsche 07-03-2014 07:41 PM

Hmmm...watching young attractive women riding horses....somewhat erotic :)

Ya I have. Problem I have is not having enough juice in the garage. I have enough to run the portable, or maybe a swamp cooler, but not a window unit most likely. Or at least a very big window unit. :(. I will have to unplug the ac to run anything else in the garage, but still will be worth it.
