I'm at around $2300...

nynor 11-28-2014 04:24 PM

yeah, that would not fly under the wife's radar.

Rick, you should be an ALFA mechanic. You'd have plenty of business. :D

That includes ACOG, noveske barrel and the new $400 stock.
It can, obviously, be done much cheaper

Evening folks. Rick I hope you land a new paycheck soon.

I had several honey dos to do and this dude dood em all by 2:00.

I even had time to wash my Elky.

Now I will have to figure out a project to do in the garage tomorrow.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I am so over winter

GH85Carrera 11-29-2014 07:44 AM

I am going to a buddies house that has the shooting range next to his house. Poke a few holes in some targets. I have not fired my wheel gun in many years. I dig out some old ammo I have had for a while. It cost me $4.95 per box of 50. It is just was cutter target ammo but it will cost more than that by a bit to replace.

RKDinOKC 11-29-2014 10:36 AM

Wow, just realized it's been since 1999 that I did any high velocity hole poking.

Rick V 11-29-2014 12:43 PM

I am going to do some this week

GH85Carrera 11-29-2014 01:22 PM

Welp the 5 dollar box worked 100%. They were low power was cutters. The real bullets have way more kick.

The was from 100 yards while running at the target over an obstacle course. Ok I can't do green text with my phone but that last bit was just a bit of BS. How about 35 feet while standing still. The 9 mm sure is easier to shoot but a pain to load.

Rick V 11-29-2014 01:41 PM

Close enough to get your point across should you ever have to

Jim Richards 11-29-2014 02:26 PM

That reminds me...it's been a while since Lu and I have killed some paper targets. Going to the indoor range would make for a great winter activity. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/ar15.gif

GH85Carrera 11-29-2014 02:37 PM

I think I got a little sunburned today while killing paper. It was mid 70s and full sun. I did not think to put on sun screen.

Everything is cleaned up and put back in place.

HHI944 11-29-2014 03:02 PM

I'm hunting for a used, decent RC truck on craigslist to make a moving target stand...

GH85Carrera 11-29-2014 03:20 PM

My buddy has a wire frame that is rectangle. He hangs a plastic jug and the wind and bullet hits make it dance everywhere. It is hard to hit several times in a row. If you hit it just right near the bottom which is thicker it will do a loop.

RKDinOKC 11-29-2014 04:35 PM

Rig up a 4x4 Rumba to rove around with a target.
