I wouldn't mind the ducks, but they **** in the pool, and that just looks gross. Vac'd it all out this AM. Looking at picking up an auto pool vac. The noise and motion scares the ducks, and it keeps the pool clean!

My son worked at a local hotel where "ducks in the pond" announced over the staff handhelds meant 'there are attractive women in/around the pool, recommend having a squiz' :D

Happy Freakin Turkey Day, those of you that observe it.

If you get bored, you can play a game of connect the dots.

Morning Y'all.
The only part about thanksgiving I don't like is the going to my mother in laws part. It isn't my mother in law I object too but her other daughter. I have known her longer then Beth and I have not liked her that long. I'm glad she don't like me either, makes it a lot easier

I am having fun fixing computer gremlins on my MIL computer. She has not done a update since I was here last. So every program from iTunes to Java needs to be updated. Then I find out she had problems and took it to some computer store and they messed up Office. Uninstalled the program that syncs the email and installed several crap malware programs. :(

Golly this is fun.

i tell my in-laws all the time to bring their computer issues to me. i've even built them machines. at least once a year i hear some story how a computer store messed their stuff up and can i help them fix it.

RKDinOKC 11-27-2014 09:02 AM

I thought Cinco de Mayo was Fart Day and Thanksgibbons was Turkey Burp Day.

Shut your heathen mouth!!!

GH85Carrera 11-27-2014 09:04 AM

Stijn!!

Buuuurrrrrrrrrrtrppppppp!

I need a nap but I will continue to fix the mess. How can a store mess up Microsoft Work to the point it will not run?

GH85Carrera 11-27-2014 09:15 AM

I figured tomorrow was turkey fart day.

Still having fun with computers. Or one old computer. It is one we got her 11 years ago. I think I have this one whipped back to operational. It has just a 32 gig hard drive and I deleted a lot of pure trash but she still has a lot of stuff she wants to keep.

I suspect I will get to order or build her a new computer soon.

This old one is a pentium 4 with 1.25 gig ram running win xp home.

nynor 11-27-2014 11:34 AM

oh, i could kill your installation of microsoft word with just a very few mouse clicks. ;)

GH85Carrera 11-27-2014 11:56 AM

The morons at the store uninstalled Outlook and installed Outlook Express. WTF ? I wonder if they would kill Photoshop and install Paint?

Jim Richards 11-27-2014 11:59 AM

They should be flogged.
