I called about a Range Rover in Tulsa. The guy was way to difficult to get in touch with for someone trying to sell a car. It lots more problems than the one I got and he wanted $4000 for it. Not because it was worth it, but because he had just spent a bunch on it.

I picked up my 914 on a Friday the 13th. (September the 13th 1974)

I worked with a chick that was stupid superstitious. On a Friday the 13th she watched me walk under a ladder, spill salt & break a mirror. I could not find a black cat to walk in front of me. I survived and she just said I was just real lucky. Sheesh.

I was ready, packed and all, at my buddy's house, ringing the doorbell....
No answer.... called him up to ask where he was....
Dude couldn't stop laughing....

I like to get to an event early but two weeks early is a bit much. :)
