now, when i press the go-pedal, the car frickin' GOES!

GH85Carrera 09-02-2010 10:10 AM

Oh, that BOV. I thought it was this.

Bov's Homepage

porsche4life 09-02-2010 10:13 AM

Hmm. Bov. Another part I don't have to worry about. :p

GH85Carrera 09-02-2010 12:08 PM

Yep, my Porsche's BOV & water pump are fail proof. I might have to replace the windshield pump someday but it does not get a lot of use.

nynor 09-02-2010 12:27 PM

head studs? chain tensioners? they all have their weaknesses.

RKDinOKC 09-02-2010 03:06 PM

I park my Range Rover next to my Porsche 928. The Range Rover seems to suck all the problems away from the 928. :)

nynor 09-02-2010 03:15 PM

hah! my disco and my 951 seem to share their problems!

Naaa. 85 Carreras are bulletproof and perfect and they are driven by good looking interesting men. :p

At least that is what I have heard. I say it all the time so I hear it all the time.

RKDinOKC 09-02-2010 07:19 PM

It doesn't smell like poo, but it is making the grass grow again.

porsche4life 09-02-2010 08:10 PM

We didn't get any rain today... :( Just a bunch of wind and a nice temp drop...

So is everyone going to be at breakfast Saturday?

Not going to be able to make it, sorry.

porsche4life 09-02-2010 08:59 PM

Start driving now.... You've just got to make it to my place on time... You can ride with me the rest of the way... Bring Mike. ;)

RKDinOKC 09-02-2010 10:46 PM

Good to go

slodave 09-02-2010 10:56 PM

I have to be back by 5...

Rick V 09-03-2010 12:27 AM

Fly. DUH

slodave 09-03-2010 12:38 AM

In a 172? It would be faster to drive. :D

GH85Carrera 09-03-2010 04:22 AM

Good morning guys.

Breakfast is a GO for me.

Sodave, our pilot had to shoot a job in far northwest North Dakota. From Oklahoma City that is about 9 hours each way in our 206. When he got back we sent him to Galveston. He has over 600 hours so far this year. Our airplane is in the shop right now for the annual inspection. He has a lot to fly as soon as we have our airplane back.
