As far as going to a beach, Meh.

It is just a smelly sandy place. I grew up in Hawaii. We spent tons of time at Bellows Air Force Station. Out cabin was right on the beach. That is the beach that Magnum PI always went to when the story was about some super rich dude with a big private beach. I got a lifetime fill of beach, and swimming in the ocean. Sand in the trunks gets old fast.

I have never enjoyed just sitting around doing nothing.

No male goes to the beach for the sand or proximity to salt water.
