I am clueless. (Again)
Who in the world are those guys? |
Knocked off early today to go get a back massage :p
|
There is a Chiropractic clinic near here that first has the chiropractor do the adjustment both manipulating and stretching and using one of those clicker things. Then a masseuse gives you a massage in one of those face down kneeling chair things. Then an oriental lady puts you on a face up electric massage table and lets it run those roller things up and down your back while she does acupuncture on your feet. The whole thing takes an hour for $30. The fancy smancy SPA charges $60 for a 30 minute massage.
Say what you may about them chiropractors, but twice a week plus walking the grocery store pushing a basket twice a week combined sure kept Mom's knee and hip arthritis from bothering her when all kinds of pain meds didn't help much. |
I go see the bonecracker monthly. Next visit is tomorrow arvo. I'm happy with the whole concept.

Morning Y'all,
Needles in the feet, Oh hell no not gonna happen, no one messes with Rickie's feet. I have turned down a free pedicure, from a rather cute asain lady. No one touched the feet. Any other body part is open season |

Nice feet. Kinda big for a Hobbit. |

Right after my hip replacement I still was under Dr.'s orders not to even try to bend at the waist more than 90 degrees, and crossing my legs was forbidden as well. My toenales needed trimming and Mrs. Carrera was not interested in trying. I went to a pedicure place. It was a horrible experience. Never again as long as I can do it. |
Good Morning
Ever since my foot thing I go to the Pediatrist every 3 months to have me feet checked. While I'm there they take care of trimming my toe nails with a thing that looks like a Dremel. It is very quick, painless, and way less trouble than doing it myself. No soaking, massaging, polish, or any of that coloured girly stuff and I am good with that. Also haven't had Hobbit hair on my feet since I started wearing shoes. :) Geronimoooooo! |
Morning all. Boy am I glad my kids listens to classic rock and country. I'd go postal if he was into the new stuff.

My daughter loves hard rock and metal like me. She never got into boy bands or even the Hannah Montana stuff. I am not a metal snob, however. I can appreciate a well written song and I make a point to share it with my kids if possible. I still dig the hits from the 60's and 70s. SOme of the greatest songwriters were on the radio during that time. |
Emily likes the good stuff, though my favorite from Alice in Chains "Rooster" she doesn't like at all. Maybe it is the subject matter that gets to me and not her because of her age.
As far as the new stuff all the teeny boppers like she told me she would rather punch Justin Beiber in the face than go to his concert. I think she was the only girl in her class that celebrated when One Direction broke up. I forgot to mention, she hit the deer Sunday with her 30-30 but I was a little off in my range estimation. Turns out it was about 165-170 yards which is a long poke with a 30-30 and peep sights. She was cold so she wasn't really steady. Her holdover was pretty close but she hit the wrong end and hit the pelvis. By the time she reset for another shot to finish the deer it was 220-230 yards out trying to walk off so I did it for her. I tagged it so if we go back out this weekend she can take her 30-30 and I will take the 6mm so if the deer is a ways out she can use the 6mm. I can't talk her into using the .45-70 just yet. So are the headaches getting any better? |
Not shabby for a 30-30 on irons... Maybe she could shoot Justin Bieber next?
A buddy wants me to go hog hunting with him. 77gr Hornady TAP 5.56 is gnarly stuff, but I'm not sure it'll drop a hog. |
Might just make it angry....
|
Found a local radio station I liked...found out it was an oldies station and they are playing classic rock as oldies. Man...makes me feel old.
Not much into hunting, but you guys go for it. I appreciate not having my shrubs munched on or my yard rutted out. Too bad there is not a opossum or squirrel season. Not that I need to worry much about it anymore since Pepper keeps them out of her yard now. |
I'm not sure. I know you can get yourself in trouble with 55gr ball ammo.
The 77gr doesn't rely on tumbling for the wound channel, so it's less velocity dependent, making it a great choice for my shorty. |
