Stewards deemed it a racing incident. Though that was Hamilton's corner, IMO. In his own self-interest, should Hamilton have afforded Webber a bit more room, though?
|
Great drive at the end by Kubica, passing for about 4 positions.
Go Ferrari! |
Morning guys...
Do you make housecalls doc? W/e has been causing my sore throat this week has made its way into my ear... :( Its been a really bad allergy year around here. I suspect my problem is sinus related. |
Damn... Slow day...
The Porsche LIVES! I drove it to the corner and back. I still have a few little things to sort, but for the most part it is good, Its good enough for AUTOCROSS. So its off for an alignment this week for the autocross on the 10th. |
Morning!
Slow day? Looks like a slow weekend to me... TGIM or is that something you just don't say?? I was supposed to make diner for two friends this weekend. Tess couldn't come cause her mom is in the hospital. (get well soon mom) I'm not really that much of a chef, but I managed to make something edible. Spicey chicken and rice, a bit too spicey for my liking. But she liked it very much, so good points for chef G-man! :) Was planning to cook for three, so I made enough for four, only one friend and I ate, so I have enough leftovers for a few days... Also, I fell asleep during the F1 race so now I have no idea what everybody is talking about.... |
Don't worry G... I slept through the F1 race as well... ;)

I still might have slept through it... |
|
lol, wheels are a bit blurry, it looks like it is still moving...
|
Not sure whats going on with that... I suspect the lens on my camera has issues... Need a new one...
Night guys. |
It's that special "makes cars look even faster than they really are" lens.
Since you don't have a 911, I would keep that lens, you'll need it often... :p night Sid |
Looks like a real old buddy of mine whom I did research with may be coming out to work at my design office. If this is the case, life just got 10x more awesome..
I'm already working on designing a new sports racer- closed wheel car this time. I couldn't stay away from racing for this long. I thought about building up a 944 track car or maybe a 3.2 911 track car... but glorified street car chassis aren't my thing. Carbon composite & alloy steel hybrid chassis design is my forte, so I'm working on the real deal: unlimited class time attack sports racer. I do chassis, structure, and suspension design. My friend Andrew does aerodynamics (his master's was spent doing research on unlimited class UK hillclimb racers.....) Time to start saving up some money and getting some design work done to drum up sponsors. |

There's a possibility I may be able to get a complete 911 case for under a $100...... It's got corrosion. I'm thinking finding the other bits (hopefully damaged and cheap - free's better) and make a coffee table. :)
|
Engine case? unsalvageable?
|
It's probably usable, but not looking for a 2.2 for my 911. It'll make a nice table. :)

Good Morning guys.
I am glad to be back at work where I can relax. The charity car show Saturday was fun. We raised some bucks for a local charity. The club will kick in more money that we make off of the autocross. Yesterday the weather was a gorgeous. The spousal unit wanted to go walk at the park so we walked the 1.5 mile loop. It is a real pretty park that has a ton of trees and a few hills to make the walk a bit more exercise. I mowed & edged the yard then washed my El Camino. Nothing overwhelming but I slept real good. |
Back from chem... Gunna take a nap before my next class and work... I feel like crap.
I'm taking my car in for the align and corner balance on Wednesday! $350! |
Who are you taking it to?
