I am just glad that several years ago I learned about that corner of the mall. Even better is they have not changed the layout at all in years. Same jeans same underwear same spot on the shelfs.
|
If I started getting mine there they would move the men's department to the opposite end of the store. So will stay away so you won't get any more inconvenienced than you are currently.

Morning all.
Yep, target or Kmart for me too - big spender. ;) |
Clearance rack at Ross! ;)
|
Mine just magically appear in my underwear drawer.
|
I would be going commando if I waited for my wife to buy my underwear. I am just lucky she is OK doing the laundry.
|
Have to be careful when my brother Bob visits. Underwear goes missing.
It is getting about time for new socks and underwear...It's Spring! |

That might be what the aliens are really looking for. Advanced technology for used underwear!
|
you might be on to something there.

Long ago we needed some burlap for a background for a photo shoot. The fabric store had a bolt of it and I bought several yards of burlap. As the lady laid it out to cut it I felt of it and said "yep that will make some great underwear." She paused for a second and then said she was pretty sure I was kidding. I said yep that stuff would suck for underwear. She said two guys had been in the day before and they bought several yards of vinyl cloth that looked like rubber and they said the same thing. She was pretty sure they were not kidding however.

So the Village People shop at the same place as you?
|
Probably that fabrics store called Handcocks or something like that. Maybe it's Hancocks.

Not embarrassed to say, I actually do know how to sew and have a sewing machine.
For one of our PCA car shows I made seat belt strap pads with the Porsche logo embroideried on them that were given in the gift bag to all participants of the car show. http://www.zipbang.com/986boxster/joypad.jpg I made 75 pairs of them. Watched Mom do sewing when I was young. She made clothes for people, then later her and another lady did most all the custom drapes and bedding in town. When I wanted something I just made it. First thing I remember making was a leather pull string bag to put my marbles in. In the 90's all my button down shirts had a tag in the neck that said "Made Especially for you by Mom." Put the tags in just to make it easier to tell if it was inside out or not coming out of the dryer. Found out later my older brother, not the alien enthusiast, was jealous because I had all custom made shirts. It wasn't a big deal after we got a pattern made. I would just go get the material I liked, give it to her and tell her long sleeve or short. She could crank out a shirt in an evening. She would have done the same for him. |
My wife is a talented seamstress if she wants to be. She made her own clothes as a kid. She can sew if she wants to. She said my old underwear don't rate time to sew them up.
She can knit like crazy as well. She is amazing with her knitting skills. |
Don't think I would even want to wear patched underwear.
Got upset one time when I saw Mom dusting with an old pair of underwear. She was rubbing everything in the house down with old underwear!? THEN taking the old underwear outside and shaking it around! Bob might have gotten a premium for that pair. |
Well I found out why everyone is getting office365, but it still don't make no sense.
If we get all 450 users Office365 with our on-line exchange they give us a discount from $22 per user to $20 per user. What I don't understand is why that saves us anything we don't actually need any users with Office365 as everyone has a box copy of office and email only is $4 per user. So I guess it's okay to over spend $16 per user for 450 users because we save $2 per user if they all needed office365? Heck we don't even use Sharepoint and our AD is 2008 and not even Azure. That's $7200 per month, or because we have to keep our initial licensing for a year to get the discount, $86,400. AND I got a letter today they are again changing 401K employer matching. They went from initially matching up to 4% of our salary to 2% a couple of months ago, and now they quit employer matching altogether. Got a call today from my nephew that was CEO who quit. Told me why. The three major executives they hired a few years ago and have now been moved into positions to run the company all came from companies that went bankrupt with them running them. Nephew also told me he's heard from customers that sales people are sounding and acting down and depressed and says that is a major negative impact and sales are dropping more than they should. It is not looking good. |

Burp!
That was bloody good:) |
Good "no longer Monday" day.
It looks like we will get some rain today. It is in the 60s temperature wise. I saw a male mosquito today so the females will be buzzing around very shortly. Oh joy, skeeters in early March. With a nice batch of rain to make some puddles we should have a bumper crop of winged vampires. |
