Yeah I have all the parts but the previous owner had broken most of them. If I ever sell the car the new owner can have all the parts I removed from the car in a box or tucked into to the cars cabin.

The real answer is you need a WHITE car. ;)

Everyone sees a pretty white car and knows it is there!

Except cops, they ignore them!

Sorry about your fender bender, Richard.

Another customer called (that is a good thing) and asked for historical images of "the river" which did not narrow it down much. He did have the precise location with Section, Township and Range so we were set. It would have almost been fun to try to show a new employee the "filing system" we have. Go to the red book and use that for a while then the blue book then some on the computer, than a lot of the miscellaneous images. Oh yea, the computer my spit out a match for drawer 6B envelope 4424. OK, cabinet 6B is easy, then start looking for envelop 4424. Flip through the 4200s and then it jumps to 6800 then back to the 4200s than back to the 6900s then back to the 4200s and finally find 4421 and the next one should be the one ya want, and it is behind another batch of 7800s. Finally found it.

We have it a dozen times from 1951 to 2015 and now we wait for the real order on what years they want.

We just don't sell enough historical images to make it worth while to fix the system. Evey few years the former owner would decide to change the system and he never update to old stuff. It does work.

Another opportunity came my way yesterday. I got a call from a wife's relative that a band he knows needs a drummer for some studio work. He suggested me and I am waiting on a call. I have no idea what type of music it is but unless it's gangsta rap I'm going to give it a shot.

Oh,SmileWavy its Friday!!

That is one of the things that sucks with the Cobra. Your feet are 4 or 5 inches from the 950* headers. Oh, I keep the wipers for that in a sleeve in the trunk. Keeps them out of the way better. You don't really look through the windshield anyway.

This, many times over. It isn't much different in price for real maple over the cheap "pancake" stuff but boy does it taste an order of magnatude better.

Had to take a couple days off last week. I didn't feel too bad but had a fever and they frown on you showing up with a fever.

Next thing you know Wayne will have a guest spot on the Muppet Show to duel Animal!

An eh mal!

My 20 yo KitchenAide Fridge is making funny noises. When it first starts and when it stops it makes a sound like a fart. I thought it was Pepper at first.

Should I call a repair man, or knuckle under and get a new one. It is a small hole and there are only a couple offered now that fit.

GH85Carrera 01-23-2017 12:48 PM

A 20 year old unit is borderline worth fixing if it is something cheap. A repair guy will cost $100 to show up and then whatever it takes to fix it.

Just be sure to measure it carefully before you go shopping. Try the appliance store for builders on 33rd St west of the RR tracks. That is where we got our new dishwasher. It was cheaper than all the big box places and had a great selection and real customer help.

Noah930 01-23-2017 01:31 PM

I would also recommend measuring not only the hole in your cabinets, but also the size of the fridge in the showroom. I mistakenly trusted the measurements listed online for the fridge I purchased. Now I have a pair of cabinets that won't open unless I pull the fridge out. Not a huge deal, as I keep seldom used items up there.

RKDinOKC 01-23-2017 02:16 PM

Well, It's Kitchenaid with glass shelves and rollers with rubber wheels on the drawers. When we got it, it was the only one with glass shelves at Sears. It was the most expensive one they had, but it was on sale and was less than most of the other ones.

Will call a repair place tomorrow and see what they think. $100 plus some parts still sounds like it might be cheaper than $1100 to $2500 bucks. Especially if I want to try to update the 1981 original to the house old Maytag dishwasher. Maybe they will make me a combo deal.

Picked up some insulin today. Have entered the time of this years Insurance Pharmacy Deductable. Spend $200 a month on my prescriptions for 5 months. Then they pay 100%.

Think I am about over the head cold and cough enough to call and reschedule my Eyeball Surgery. It was getting better until last Wednesday. Was seeing well enough I got my depth perception back. Then Wednesday the retina started hemorrhaging again and my left eye is so blurred I can't see how many fingers I have up right in front of my face. Really inconvenient.

Don't see many snakes around here. All I've seen lately is leftovers of little garden snakes Pepper has ripped to shreds.

Oh Haha 01-24-2017 04:09 AM

Screw that Jeff!!

GH85Carrera 01-24-2017 04:18 AM

Jeff, I bet that snake works great as a way to get your heart rate up!

The only snakes I have seen around here are really tiny, about the size of a drinking straw. The eat earthworms and are not much bigger than a big earthworm. They are harmless but my dog will kill them if he gets a chance.

I try hard to keep the rodent population as low as possible, preferably at none. Less snake food, fewer snakes.

Hey it ain't Monday no mo.

Oh Haha 01-24-2017 04:23 AM

Porsche-poor 01-24-2017 06:10 AM

GH85Carrera 01-24-2017 06:37 AM

Giggle giggle.

Our parking lot at work is next to the business next door. There is strip of grass 3 feet wide between the lots. Our lot has a concrete parking stop like many parking spaces. Some of the folks that drove large vehicles would on occasion just drive forward and run over that concrete barrier. That always drug the concrete barrier out into our parking lot. We had to use the 24 HP 38 inch wide lawn mower to push it back into position. We bought some steel bars and sledge hammered them in.

Yesterday some fool drove over it again. There are several pieced of plastic bumper, and the top of the concert is scraped up. It did some real damage to that vehicle. Dumb ass driver.

Porsche-poor 01-24-2017 06:51 AM

oh you just have to love it when a plan comes together.
