Guess Porsche Legal can't do a internet search on shirts. And PCA clubs do have the approval to use the Porsche logo on items as long as other things are not too close. Bet that's whey the PORCHE on that badge is very logo like and has some space around it and Palooza is in a different font.
The web site still calls it PCA Palooza though. |
looks like fun but I would not be taking mine to it this time of year.
|
In that part of the country PCA Palooza is really a fall colors tour kind of thing.
The 928 GTG last weekend is held in the area west of Austin, called 3rd Coast Hill Country, it is still green there. Wanted to go this year, the weather was in the low 70's day and night! Usually its 70's daytime and upper 50's at night. But training my service dog is more important right now. She is not trained well enough to slap a "Service Dog in Training" Vest on her and take her, and do not want to leave her in a Kennel or worse with a trainer that will untrain some of my stuff. This morning I went by Starbucks. While waiting in line for the drive thru, one of the baristas brought her daughter out to meet Pepper. Told Pepper to tell her "Good Morning" and Pepper immediately said "Good Morning" very clearly. The little girl looked kind of shocked said "Good morning, and Hello Pepper" then without prompting Pepper said "Hello" back. Had to give Pepper treats for that! The barista told her daughter, see I told you Pepper says Hello. The little girl said, she say good morning too! |
Morning all. We will be driving to the Boston Mountains today. Hopefully they are not near Boston, that is a bit too far. There is a 918 here. I just wonder if it is driven or just on display. I will get a pic now the the sun is coming up.
|
Don't eat the baked beans, it's a trap! You aren't anywhere near Boston.Thought you might want to wear Red Socks to be safe. And if you start hearing banjo music, don't get separated from the group!
|
It was 11* this morning. I think the Cobra is put away until February at least. Unless there are visitors from out of town. I will wrangle it out for that if the snow isn't too deep.
|
morning all. I think one last weekend to finish cleaning out dad's house and put it up for sale.
|
don't say the "S" word!!!!!
|
Sorry. Crystallized precipitation.
|
Oh great, Sister is in town and wants to go thru the framed pictures. Claims there is some picture she wants that I know doesn't exist. She just wants to go thru all the artwork to see if there is anything valuable.

Been busy all day. Our international sales rep is in Abudabi. His email got hacked and sent a virus to everyone in his address book this morning.
Don't know what our sales staff are doing in that area. All of their production equipment is much larger than anything we make of even have the capability of making. And we make valves and controls from 1 inch up to 6 inch line sizes. |
There is probably some kids with hobby sets that could use your stuff.
|
Whew. Back from our drive. 22 cars in the group. About right. The 918 was not in our group. All Porsche’s except on Datsun GTR, Nisan GTR.
Today I had more compliments on my car than all the Parades. Folks with new Porsche’s and they kept flicking to mine. It was astonishing. And they asked intelligent questions and just loved the classic look. Lost of people with great taste of course! :) |
I stopped at the gas station to get gas of course. Premium unleaded 100% gas. Stupid expensive but what the heck. I swipe the card and start pumping. It stops after $1.41 and says error. I go inside and he resets it. Start again $1.40. Error. Screw it, I move to another pump. Start pumping and it will not even start. Go inside wait in line and he resets the other pump. Start again it will not do anything, just frozen. Go back inside, wait in line and she sends an employee over to open the cover and reset it and fix the tape. Pump my gas and no receipt. Make 4th trip inside to get receipt. Walk next door to liquor store to buy more beer. It took 25 minutes to get a fill up. Grrrrr. :(

Would make sure to go over the bill when you get home to make sure they didn't get your card info.

oh boy, whomever hacked and sent 3800 emails from a user used the OWA interface and the users email and password to log in. Their IP shows they were in Rochester NY. Was on the phone with user when he tried to log in with his outlook. It started addling contacts so we quit Outlook. One of the other guys is going to go thru tomorrow and malware scan his computer and reset his phone. I think they are logging into his owa with his email and password that they got using that new KRACK wifi hack. He is a traveling international salesman using wifi everywhere. He does not have the latest updates on his laptop or his iphone.

Sis told me she was at BBQ with her son in Sonoma CA. There were paintings of cow and bull heads on the walls and my nephew wanted one like that. They were all expensive and he didn't want to spend the money on a cow head. My sister noticed several of them were done by the same artist that did the picture Mom bought a long time ago. Sister thought it was a cow head, but instead it was just a couple of cows in a field near a barn. But the artist was the same because her new husband recognized the name. I don't remember the painting, never hung it on a wall while I was alive. Just been wrapped in cut up brown paper bags and stuck in the attic. I think the nephew story is crap. She didn't ask me about the painting until they got back from Nevada visiting the Sister that disowned the family and I only met once 35 years ago.
And my SIL that helped had to take a picture to so she didn't feel left out. It was a oriental etching of an old man's face with a rice patty in the background. She offered to give me two that were the same style my brother bought when stationed in Viet Nam, "she was going to throw them away." Oh but she had to have this one. People are so funny. Did look up the artist of the cows and it's worth about $800. The oriental etching is about $50. I sure liked what my Mom and her 2 sisters did when Grandma died. They had everything valued, added it all up, each sister got 1/3, and they bought the items they wanted from their third, then everything else was sold. The cash was distributed to by how much cash they each had left. |
Holey moley. Win10 hasn't updated on my VMware Fusion since May. Updated for 7 hours before I got the Up-to-date message.
Oh and found the Multiple Factor Identification for Office365 that the MS Office365 help desk recommended to protect against hacking like we had seems to only work on the Mac Outlook and Web Outlook. Guess not being able to login would keep a PC Outlook user from getting hacked! |
