Dewd, you sound like a younger version of me

Travis944 12-23-2010 02:17 PM

I'll admit its my fault for letting it get that low on fuel, but in my defense my gas gauge isn't exactly accurate. I normally get 200-220 miles to a tank and I was at 210, but the light hadn't come on yet so I thought I was good. Apparently the light no longer works! I was on my way to the gas station when I ran out of fuel

Could be worse, it could be monday

Travis944 12-23-2010 02:27 PM

haha very true. My wonderful gf brought me jumper cables and helped to get across the street to get fuel and then get home where I put the battery on the charger. Now she's right as rain, it was just a sucky day. So how is everyone's Christmas Eve's Eve

I spent my day repairing the mouse destruction in a school bus. lots of wires

That sounds like loads of fun  . haha Are you a mechanic by trade?

Rick V 12-23-2010 02:40 PM

Unfortunately. I just took this job at the truck shop because it got me off of line work and all I really do is the "clean work" like electrical issues, the stuff most people hate and that I love

Travis944 12-23-2010 02:43 PM

I definitely fall into that category. I need to clean up a lot of wiring and I'm dreading it. Not so much that its hard, its just tedious and intimidating

Rick V 12-23-2010 02:47 PM

I like it, clean and very mathematical

Was it always like that for you, or did you learn to love it after becoming good at it?

Rick V 12-23-2010 02:57 PM

I always found auto work and electrical to be very easy, but I grew up in a house full of mechanics.

slodave 12-23-2010 02:59 PM

Travis944 12-23-2010 03:04 PM

Rick V 12-23-2010 03:06 PM

slodave 12-23-2010 03:06 PM

It's a little over 6 board feet and is really hard!!!

Rick V 12-23-2010 03:09 PM

slodave 12-23-2010 03:11 PM
