Dang, once again my wife has me doing honey dos. Today she decided we needed to clean the fish tank of cichlids. Another of her hobbies she "lets" me help her with. So another part of the day away from my busy day at work. Well, I did balance the checkbook on the business. It takes longer to log into the bank and download the statement and open the QuickBooks account than the actual reconciliation of the account. The credit card account and checkbook are done.

Of course I download the bank feed for the account regularly, so I don't enter much in manually except the paying of bills, and writing the invoices. The reconciliation is done is no time.

We need to find some new projects. One coming up soon we hope is in Montana. A large area.

It will take nearly as long to get there as it does to fly the project!

GH85Carrera 04-01-2020 12:16 PM

It will be a long project. Fly up and get a motel room. Fly the project in hopefully one day, if necessary two. Then get home. The image processing will take weeks of computer time.

Looks like grocery stores are getting better. Got milk, bread, ground beef, and eggs. The only thing the store is still out of stock on now is TP.

RKDinOKC 04-01-2020 01:21 PM

Just noticed on one of the packages of Mega rolls of TP is has a web site that they will ship a roller extender for the cost of shipping. And I got mine from Home Depot.

This one is a bit lower but has the tires to go with it. This one make at least 5hp more than the white one above!

Glen can easily make up the HP difference with a Cool Collar.

One of the guys in the El Camino club had a El Camino with a perfect show quality black paint job. I bet he had 20 grand in that paint job. He had a Grand National Turbocharged 6 Cylinder engine in it making some insane HP. With the race slicks he could do a 10.5 second 1/4 mile. With no doubt it was the nicest one in the group.

I miss those guys. Several key members either died or worse yet, got dementia and were institutionalized. The guy with the super nice Elky had to sell it for a horrible loss when his wife had some bad money issues. The guy that started the club used to live across the street from me. He fell in love with my Elky and got one of his own. He eventually got remarried after his first wife died. He lost interest in the Elky so he sold it.

29 years later, I still just drive mine. I will do a second carpet replacement soon. I need to figure out the chrome tape accents on the door panel. I can't get them to stick. Complete door panels are available, but I am not going that route.

Morning all

Bastard reflux just tried to kill me in my sleep again. Getting old sucks.

Jim Richards 04-02-2020 08:22 AM

If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Yeah, getting old isn’t a cake walk. But being retired makes it better. A lot better. :)

Porsche-poor 04-02-2020 08:46 AM

So if you are working from home and technically sleeping at the office and you sleep wrong and have a crick in your neck is it an on the job injury?

Asking for a fiend...………….

GH85Carrera 04-02-2020 09:24 AM

Stijn!!

Most jobs discourage sleeping on the job. It is allowed and encouraged by my boss. But that jerk just made me mow his yard. At least he lets me take a shower before I go back to work.
I need a nap this afternoon!

Porsche-poor 04-02-2020 10:17 AM

technically not sleeping on the job but sleeping at the office.

And getting old is better than stopping getting old and taking that final nap.

RKDinOKC 04-02-2020 01:46 PM

No dirt naps allowed.

RKDinOKC 04-02-2020 01:47 PM

Been Zooming with my brother to get him familiar with zoom.
He wants to get off the company email since he is officially retired.

Impressive, Jeff. Will we be able to see your system from space?

Outback Porsche 04-02-2020 01:59 PM

Hehe prolly

Definitely be on google eventually

RKDinOKC 04-02-2020 02:23 PM

When i had a pet great horned owl I had to keep moving it's big bird cage around so it didn't leave bird poop on the grass under it. In the 20 years living here there has been at least one great horned owl roosting in the top of the cottonwood tree in my back yard. Yet, there is no owl poop that I can see, And no bone balls that they hack up either.
