Kind of what I figured. I'll do a reset tomorrow night and try again.

GH85Carrera 02-06-2018 07:31 PM

Yea I have over 12 hours on my trip. I am sitting outside in the 28 degree cold waiting for my shuttle to the airport. Watching the intellectual and historically accurate film, Blazing Saddles. Dang funny movie. I finished Dirty Santa as well. Dang it is sick funny. Just wrong but funny.

It's the music that makes it...

Ok so now after reset iTunes says it's downloading an update and will install it when done. No status bar I think it's fibbing.

Porsche-poor 02-06-2018 08:26 PM

Richard I win. After the factory reset which didn't work it still thinks it's Amy's. It updated the software, accepted her id and finished. Thanks!

RKDinOKC 02-06-2018 08:29 PM

Whew, glad you didn't have to return it...Yet.

Porsche-poor 02-06-2018 08:40 PM

Nope I think it's good to go. The factory reset never took. Holding the center bottom and the upper power got it to go black then display the apple logo but it still needed her pin number to complete the software update even when I was logged in on iTunes. Strange but working.

RKDinOKC 02-06-2018 10:09 PM

Just glad it is working. Hope she likes it.

Good morning all. I am up at 5:30 body time but 6:30 local to get ready, eat, and get to the conference by 8:00.

The view from my window. The airport tower is in the middle of the picture.

I haven't been to DC in years. We talked about taking the kids to some museum there.

RKDinOKC 02-07-2018 06:09 AM

Have not been to DC. Farthest up the East cost I've been is South Carolina. Think the farthest North and East Ive been above Tennessee is Chicago. Farthest up the West coast is San Francisco. Have not been very far South in Florida. The farthest South is Brownsville TX.

These are states I have actually visited, I did not include states where I had a layover at an airport and did not get to do touristy stuff.

Couldn't get the map to post.

Understand Tesla's new model launch went well. Think their advertising budget is a bit high though. Out of this world.

Next they need to have it pull up to the space station and send a message..."Your Uber is here."

flipper35 02-07-2018 08:03 AM

Maybe it was Lyft instead?

GH85Carrera 02-07-2018 08:40 AM

I lived in Hawaii for 6 years and I was there when when it became a state. I visited Alaska for two weeks. Only a few states around Montana and North Dakota are states I have not been to. I have driven my Porsche in 39 states. And my own requirement to consider a state as visited is to be there long enough to have a meal, and use the restroom. Flying to an airport and never leaving does not count.

RKDinOKC 02-07-2018 08:47 AM

Had a nephew start a map of the states. His qualification of coloring a state yellow on his map is that he rook a pee while in the state. Also put a red dot on the city he peed in. It did not have to be in a rest room, but had to be stationary and not while moving in any sort of vehicle with wings or wheels.

Sadly he passed before he got very much of his map colored.

Porsche-poor 02-07-2018 10:47 AM

afternoon all. Got hit with a big mess when I got to work. Busy busy.....

RKDinOKC 02-07-2018 11:25 AM

There is some kind of grandiose conspiracy behind calling the time spent at work, "work." Unless, of course, if it is at a government agency.

Porsche-poor 02-07-2018 12:00 PM

it is a four letter word.
