if only it was that easy I would have fire bombed the house on their return.
|
So the returning family was the source of your crud?
Ain't that sweet, that just wanted to share! |
that would appear to be the case.
|
Morning. Made it thru the night. still feel like complete crap.
|
Get better soon! You have drawings to do.
|
when the east coast gets out of a meeting I will probably be working on some today.

We had a enough rain (0.05 inches) to really get the humidity up yesterday. Today is a higher chance of rain. Last Friday evening as we were going on our standard Friday night date night restaurant adventure, it rained .01 inch, just enough to run down parking lots and into the street and into the gutters and get my car all dirty. Two weeks before on Friday night we drove to a restaurant just three miles from home. It rained there, but by the time we got home, the rain stopped so our house got nothing, but the Elky got dirty.
Guess what, tonight once again a decent chance of rain in the afternoon. So far we have only had .31 for the entire month, so we all want some rain, just not once a week on Friday night, hundredth on an inch. |
Morning all. Feeling a tad better but still I just got up and could already go nap.
|
I am almost always ready for a nap!
As a kid it was a horrible bad thing to have to go take a nap, now not so much. We just got over 50% more rain today than we had all month! Another .18 inches. It is 75 degrees and wet out there. Weird. We are not complaining at all. |
currently 70 and headed to 96 if the weather people are right.
|
Morning all. Its been a long weekend.
|
Having fun today. Playing yard man again. It is overcast, and only 85 degrees with a breeze, so not bad for yard duty. My trusty old (bought in 1982) bladed edger is have issues running right. It fires right up, but then is cycles from running nice to almost idle, and then dies after a few cycles.
I can only guess the carb is worn out. I have tried everything else I can think of. Now I will have to fine some replacement carb, as there are no parts for the thing. |
Probably finding one would be better than buying a new edger which might last till next fall.
|
I hope so. It has been flawless for 40 years. POS carburetor just is not doing what it should. I guess every 40 years of lawn duty it had to be replaced. I just hope I can find a decent carb and not some Chinesium garbage.
|
well a garbage one mounted to the good old parts is still better than a whole new unit off the shelf that may or may not work right from the git go.
|
Hopefully a complete disassembly, and through cleaning will do the trick. And replace the fuel hoses.

We heard from a client that we did a LOT of work for the first year we opened. They were instrumental in getting us up and making money from the beginning. Nice money for us. Then their company collapsed and everything stopped. We were wary of them and always insisted on pay first then we will bust ass to get the project done. So we never lost a penny, and made money.
The guy we worked with was a bit of a Rianman kind of guy. Very smart, and had wild ideas, but we managed to keep him happy. He has new backers, and clams big money to back his project. We are ready. So maybe in 2023 we will have a mega banner year. We just had a major project pay up, so the cash flow is flowing. All of our bills got paid, and the balance in the checking account at the bank went up. |
Cash flow coming in is always a good thing.
|
Cash flow in is always good if it beats cash flow out.
Wife ordered hardened stone countertops for her birthday. I get to order yet another set of header gaskets for the Cobra. My sis brought a couple of her "adopted" grandkids so they got a ride and I could hear the coolant hissing out the rear of the gasket again when I parked it. Why did Mopar put the end bolts in the water jacket? David, get better. Cover your sneezes so they don't get transmitted via TCP/IP to any of us! |
Brent, are you back among the employed workers of the country?
And David, keep hosing down your keyboard and monitor with a disinfectant like Lysol! |
