Oh what fun. No thanks. I hate grass.
|
Morning all. Not much going on today.
|
I am at the dermatologist office the fun of growing up in Hawaii is now the price I pay. Always some spots zapped with liquid nitrogen.
Fun fun. |
as long as they don't turn you into a batman character................
|
I had one spot on my right hand knuckle that was large and my main reason for going. He said it looks like Squamous Cell carcinoma. He cut it off, and cauterized the wound. They will send it in for a biopsy. I go back in two months for a followup.
He zapped a few spots on my face with liquid nitrogen. |
Sounds like mowing in the dark is in order.
|
I slather on sun block, and I wear a large floppy hat.
The real problem is when I was in first and second grade in Hawaii, I went to school and everywhere with no shirt, no shoes or hat. I was so tanned I could be outside all day, and not get sunburned. There was no such thing as sunscreen. My feet were like elephant feet. I could walk across black asphalt in the full sun and not feel a thing. Stepping on a sand-bur or sticker, I just scraped my foot on the ground to get it out. Now I am paying for that. I always wear shoes. House shoes inside, and real shoes outside. My feet are un-callused and as tough as newspaper. I never go outside without a hat and wearing a shirt (and jeans or shorts) but it is too late to undo the damage. It is part of getting older. I will never be too old to have a happy childhood, and I still have a 8 years old kids sense of humor. |
sounds like a good plan.

We received .45 inches of rain overnight. They missed the forecast high yesterday. It was supposed to hit 100. It was only 89. No one is complaining.
My dermatologist said I am to put a glob of Vaseline on the area he cut out, and then cover it with a bandage. Keeping a bandage on my knuckles on my right hand has not been easy. When I wash my hands, add Vaseline, new bandage. Repeat. |
Do what the doc says or the boss's wife may give you a new reason to go see the doc.
|
I want it to heal up ASAP. He said that treatment will help.
|
That is also a good plan.
|
Morning all. temps have dropped a bit but not for long.
|
We received almost an inch of rain yesterday. Temps dropped for 100 to mid 80s. I like it!
We had a zoom meeting with PCA national parade committee last night. We have lots to do to get ready in the next year. |
When I was changing wiper blades the last time on my 911, I noticed the little plastic caps that cover the nut for the wiper arms on the passenger side was crack and broken, but still in place. At the dealership last week, I had the parts department order me two.
Part number 928-628-623 00. I only needed one, but I know the old one was old, and typical plastic in the sun, dull and weather beaten. They were "just" 11 bucks each. Now I have two pretty new caps. Super simple to install. TaDa! It was the same price on Pelican, only zero shipping and handling cost. |
Morning all. Not much going on here.
|
TGIF??
We have a PCA breakfast tomorrow. Always nice to see the club members. |
Morning all. Its Monday........I think. Not much going on here this week.
|
We are loving our current weather. 2 inches of rain over two days, and it was 68 degrees this morning. We have had 6.75 inches of rain this month.
I heard the spot they cut off was not any bad pookie squamous cell carcinoma, just the run of the mill precancerous spot. Now I just need the spot to heal up do I can get back to more activities that require my hand, besides computer work. |
Well that is great news!
