So who is going to be the first to backflip a 911?

they've done it in Monster trucks, so a 911 HAS To be the next logical step........

Byron, exactly LOL
A few years back I really made an effort to get back into it like back in the day......after a week my body wasn't having any of it, sore joints, everything.....i just couln't do it like before (the bmx stuff that is LOL)....
One of the cats I grew up riding with was in charge of the street course a few years back, I'm sure he's still heavily involved.
We need to meet up over some beers and share stories of our earlier mischief

I start therapy for my back next week, trying to avoid the knife, just finished up with my right knee (it did get cut) and still have one more to go... If you are wanting to build up a newer bike, I have a Haro SR24, NOS frame & most parts to build, I still need a double din Nav/dvd for my Suburban..
Here are a few of my old bikes that I still have & am keeping..

Plus I have this modern Robinson to sell or trade off...

Of course, think this may be one reason my back is messed up today

i'm good on bikes for right now......but am always watching out for a nav sustem for you.....
currently have a specialized fatboy which i painted copper......
and still have my gt pro freestyle tour (990's on the bottom!!i never ran them because they'd get destroyed during grinds), chrome too which has been welded a "few" times......the gt is one of the few things i still have from my childhood, i got it in 88 iirc.....all the others were bent, broken, destroyed by aggression
i'll see if i can dig up some pics......

I would do some homework here, I think you'll find that back surgery is nonsense. The scientists know more than the doctors and most surgery isn't based on experimental data but trial and error. Scientific American had a good article about it about 15 years ago when I hurt my back.

I'm 18 and I can't ride a Skateboard very well. Guess its a side effect of living in the country. Gravel drive and everyone drives 60 on the road out front.

It's not. If you can skate on that you can keep up with the best. The conditions are smooth for wake boarding, skating, skiing, etc... competitions. The talent is there, sure, but the conditions are optimal for success. When you get good, you get picky. It's too windy. It's not, it's Wendy.

That one is electric and will set you back 600. You can always go with the foot powered version for 60...

You guys are killing me.... @ 46 years old, I love watching the X-games like the next guy. I'm getting flash backs of the days we used to skate at an indoor park made out of fiberglass and race BMX with my trusty Schwinn sting. Back in 77, that bike was $450 new!!! It hung on the wall @ the Schwinn dealership for 2.5 years, till I bought it. Worked all summer long to have that bike.

I'm 36, back in 84ish I worked all summer washing big rigs to buy my first bike, a kuwahara......I lived in the next town over from frankfurt bicycles (they had ads in ecery mag for years and years), a few months after I bought it I was at the shop to buy better tires and someone swiped it from out front, it really pissed me off and taught me to protect my investments well......the owner of frankfurt felt really bad as I was one of those regular kids who spent a lot of time there but didn't have any money, so he gave me a gt performer and let me pay him a little each week until it was paid for.....
I'll never forget that, he was a really super guy who did something to help a hard working kid who was dealt a bad hand.
I moved away in 1990, a few years ago I took a road trip and stopped in his shop to find he had bought the adjacent parking lot/building and more than doubled his space and seems to be still going strong after all these years, although it's been a few years since I've been there I hope he's doing well.

That is why I'm trying the PT, may try Yoga & a Chiropractor as well, as I really don't want to be cut open any more, but the movement is getting less & pain is growing....

I was mowing yard, collecting deposit bottles, raking, weeding, what ever I could do to earn money for my bike stuff. I may still have a H&F catalog in a box somewhere... I still have some of my old stuff....

Travis didn't land his big trick tonight.

The highlight for me tonight was Anthony Napolitan's double front flip on the BMX big air. It didn't score well with the judges because the point was to grab big air on the vert, not do the best trick over the jump, but it was still amazing. So much rotation. Check youtube for when that gets put up eventually.

Yes the double front was the best landed trick so far........kinda sucks he didn't get close to 20ft on the quarter, you lose so much momentum when flipping forward.....

Trav landed hard......the ausie kid should've won mx trick with his indian 360.....that was sick loza got lucky with the judges imo.....it IS about innovation after all.

Did you catch the amputee mx race? Good stuff and such an effort put forth from those guys, forget his name but the one guy made his own prostetic leg with his metal working skills, big props to all those guys, it takes courage to get back on the horse like that
