lincoln tail light replace-take to dealer?
My daughters 2000 lincoln ls burned out a tail light. I am at work and have not had a chance to see the problem. She went to Auto-Zone for a replacement, but the owners manual instructs to take the car to a dealer or qualified service person. This is a light bulb replacement. Can anyone shed some light (pun alert) on this for me?

Look through any modern owners manual. For anything more major than checking fluids, they demand that you visit your dealer. Dealer visit = dealer money, it's really quite simple. Her light bulb is probably a 5 minute job.
